Default Anyone gone Lunar yet?

No not autometer gauges silly. 250,000 miles on 1 drivetrain?

I'm chatting with a buddy and we figure there's not a snowball's chance in hell that anyone here has taken a car lunar on one drivetrain (engine/trans/rear).

Please tell me I'm wrong.

I don't think I've driven that many miles on all of my cars combined lol

I had a old work van that had 267,000 miles on it. 99 or 00 E350. 5.4L triton v8. It still runs great too. Just sitting at the office not being used. Original drivetrain. I have since bought a 2011 E250.

also, old teacher of mine had a late 80's or early 90's F150 v6. It had just under 500k. All original too.

I've seen 350K+ on a 89 chevy CK/1500. All original, and it even went through a busted radiator. So it overheated a couple times and was literally glowing red from the manifolds up.

I've also seen a 92 ford f150 with a I6 go 400K all original, it had a 5 speed with no problems till my friend got drunk and wrapped it around a tree. It sounded like a supra with the exhaust ripped off of it.

I work at a Lube shop and have seen it dozens of times. Most I have seen was just over 700k on a vw tdi. Car was falling apart but to drivetrain was healthy as day one.

250k? I have about 230 to go.
Most I`ve seen personally was 279k on a 80s Saab Turbo. I think the guy said it had a radiator and a turbo.

Our old ford econoline had 350k (almost 100 miles with 0 oil pressure). Then we took the drivetrain and engine out and created a deer stand... the 302 is still in the garage, we wanted to take it apart to see how the insides looked after the 0 oil pressure miles... surprisingly it was in amazing condition in there, yay for amsoil

My father's 1981 Mustang 6 cyl was running to 289,000 miles before he got rid of it, all on the same drivetrain.
