4 hours for the fronts, 30 minutes for the rears.
struts were a pain in the ass x10. it was so difficult to get the nut off of the top of the struts on each side. i thought my flowmaster cat back was going to get ripped out when i dropped the axle. other than that and having power-steering fluid shoot all over the place when i turned the wheel, it went pretty smooth. Looks great man! And I love those wheels.

i don't know if it's me or the way my car is sitting but at some points it looks like the rear is noticeably lower than the front. i have 3 fingers of space between tire and wheel well.

It looks great man! I am pretty sure that was how long it took me to do mine. As for it sitting lower in the back, it might be a little bit. The car is going to settle over the next week or so and the front should settle more than the back because of the weight of the engine.

I noticed that same thing about mine. But they've settled now.

drove on some concrete and measured all 4 tires. they're all between 27 and 27 1/4 inches but for some reason my passenger side rear sits at 26 1/4ish inches. my buddy did the install on the rears and he said he's pretty sure he made sure the pig tails face the drivers side but it's too hot to take the tire off today and check.
any ideas? |
