Ill never buy a first gen Apple anything. I consider the iphone 4 a first gen item because it has and does new things. Id have an iphone if I didnt HAVE to pay for data...I could deal with phone service and wifi only.

Im on my moms plan. And I when I go to pre order it they say. 400$$.. I dont UNDERSTAND. We've had shitty phones since ever! I still have my RAZR they first gave me 3 years ago.

When I go to use dads plan, but with his number its 200 like they advertised. I dont get it.

 

I wont be able to use Iphone since I'm on Verizon. My next phone discount isnt until March. By that time 4g will be up and going strong with some sweet DROID power.

Anyway congrats on being one of the first...Apple should sell at least a million in the first few days.

yeah i can get an iphone for 99 bucks...NOT the shitty one either...the mid level one with the faster processor since I have had the same phone with ATT for almost 5 years...BUT...**** THE MANDATORY DATA CHARGES...THAT IS TOTAL BULLSHIT, and why I wont be getting the new iphone.

 

Verizon here too. I was going to get the Droid and get rid of my Dare but my plan would have gone up another twenty bucks like it did two years ago when I got my Dare. We'll see...

agree. I just don't see it worth it having to upgrade every year or so. There's a guy at work who's crazy about Apple. He just got the 3GS for him and his wife less than a year ago and bought an iPad. Now he just ordered 2 more iPhone 4s yesterday. When does it stop?

 

I have an iphone now. I won't be upgrading. I'm gonna switch to an android phone on verizon in a year when my contract's up. AT&T's new data plans are garbage.

 

i got the htc droid incredible, my buddy has an iphone and we "raced" haha there wasnt much of a difference at all.

 

will propably upgrade to a htc incredible soon. would like to get a htc evo

 

im thinking about getting the HTC evo but i dont know if i want to spend another 30 bucks a month for a data plan.

it's 200 bucks. that ain't ****...my current iphone is slow and doesnt have video capabilities. so even if it was just a faster version of my phone with video it's worth the 200. but it does a bunch more ****. you act like everyone that gets an iphone is some steve jobs fanatic. i don't know where you get that, because a lot of people I know, including myself, only own one apple product. the iphone.

If you have a 1st Gen .... ok thats a worth while upgrade. I guess im mostly talking about 3rd gen iphone users upgrading.

 

It crashed.

They had over 600,000 preorders so theyve taken down the pre orders.

And they had 13 million checks for eligibility.

 

I have had the iPhone 3GS for a few months and see no reason to upgrade.

 

Im rocking the blackberry bold 9000. the thing is a beast, i love it. Stream pandora, surf internet, speak on phone all at the same time. lol.

if yer an "app" fanatic, then the blackberrys just arent for you, but if you want something that is reliable, well built, and modular meaning you can replace parts yourself if something breaks, and you arent really that interested in all the goofy if not somewhat useful apps, then it is hard to beat blackberry.

 

Blackberry ftw. Just got a Blackberry pearl 8100, that a friend gave to me, and its pretty nifty. Except...I dropped it in a ******* whiskey sour last weekend, and now the 2,5,8, and 0 buttons dont work, so no dialing or texting.....or pandora.

 

I got a blackberry gave to me as well.. By my aunt. She said it needed a new battery. Well i got a new battery and put it in. AND IT WORKED!

However, it wouldnt charge. The USB connectors probably screwed on it. SO I'm back to my highschool era RAZR again.
