BBK Fuel Rails

I just ordered BBK High Flow Aluminum Fuel Rails from AM http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-fuelrail-9904.html

Anyone have these on their car or heard much about them?

I think most of these rails are about the same, 5/8 ID. I have the UPR rails and never had any problem with those. They are blue anodized and are holding up very well.

PS make sure you lube your injector o-rings really good before you push the rail down onto the injectors.

No, the rails will literally cut the o-rings if they are not lubed before installed.

I always thought when I changed oil filters on coal trucks, when i lubed the O ring in the middle it was to keep it from leaking. I guess its a completely different concept.

Injectors are like a ball and socket type deal where they plug into the fuel rail. Thats why they get cut if they arent lubed.

BBK's design is good. They're a cheaper setup with rubber and brass instead of braided stainless and aluminum but they use a good hold-down bracket. UPR's hold down (on the set I had) bracket was totally shit and led to innumerable fuel leaks at the injectors. Aeromotive are the cats meow. CPR are stunning (what I have now).

R3d, I took my hold down brackets and bent them ever so slightly to take up for that little bit of looseness. Have'nt had any problems since.

that's what I had to do... still hate having to do that sort of nonsense.
