Best Battery Charger?
My stang is dead, its not an everyday car. I know a quick jump would get it up and running. I dont need it asap, does anyone have any personal experience with any trickle chargers, etc.
http://www.batterychargers.com/ schumacher has a few, just wondering whats a good cheap piece that i can use to slowly recharge my battery. thanks |
I have a battery tender on my 1954 MG that I added to it. It was kinda cheap and gets the job done well. I would recommend it.

anyone know if i can just get this, and let it charge for a while (2 or 3 days)

Just get a decent one. If you buy a decent one you can keep them for years no problem. I have one like this, http://store.schumachermart.com/sem-1562a.html But allot older, and as long as the battery itself is good, theyll work fine.

I use Deltran battery tender plus for the car and the tender jr for the bike. I've had them for years with no prob. I have a few friends that use autozone battery chargers for their bikes and they have no problems either. They use them for their cars as well.
