Christmas Gifts, bullitt pedal question
my woman got me
(my girl is the best) bullitt pedals rear seat delete frpp 9mm spark plug wires questions on the pedals.... they seem to have come (shrink wrapped??) if thats even the correct word. They have a plastic material on them? having trouble getting all this shit off, wondering if anyone has had personal experience with this. Im literally trying to pull pieces off with a tweezer, its almost like a horrible sticker im assuming for protection when shipped??? pics soon Merry Christmas hope you all got good shit |

http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_SANY0665.jpg http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_SANY0666.jpg im not sure if this is a "defect" but they seem to be banged up a bit as well, few nicks here and there, (she got them from am) any thoughts/personal experience people??? im debating whether to soak them for a while to see if that removes the plastic wrapping, or maybe using a hair dryer to ghetto melt the plastic any ideas?? |
WD 40 should do the trick. Those look just like my stock GT pedals. Maybe because mine was the premium package..

Yeah mine grip my feet all day wet or not. Thank you Ford for the 4th fake pedal on the left, Keeps my foot off the clutch and gives it somewhere to sit.. and still feels like my foot is on a pedal.. I don't think I've ever once had my feet slip off any of my pedals. And you can actually stand on the 4th pedal to get yourself where you want to be in your seat.. ;)

Probably just old plastic making it hard to remove, could have been sitting in an inventory since around 2001. Those pedals are good, but I have had my feet slip off them and they make it harder to heel-toe downshift due to not having rubber on the edges.

I was thinking about getting those peddels and watching the Video how to do it seemed VERY frusrating. LOL
What does FRPP mean? I got the same Spark Plug Wires, but red. :D Wait, Ford Racing Performance Parts? |

I put the same pedal covers in the Mach 1. Easy install, I used a hair dryer to heat up the brake and clutch covers, made them a lot easier to work with.

I actually installed those on my brothers 08 GT today. Make sure you boil them to make them easier to work with, or hairdry them. Also you might wanna get a small flat tip or hook tool, makes it much easier. Otherwise very simple install, just make sure not to tear the rubber.

I usually dip them in boiling water for about a minute and it really softens up the ruber and they go on no problem if your quick before they coold down.
