Buy American gas!
Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:
Sunoco......................... 0 barrels Conoco........................ 0 barrels Sinclair....................... 0 barrels BP / Phillips................ 0 barrels Hess. ............................. 0 barrels ARC0............................. 0 barrels Maverick......................... &nbs p;0 barrels Flying J. .......................... 0 barrels Valero............................ 0 barrels Murphy Oil USA * ............. 0 Sold at Wal-Mart , gas is from South Arkansas and fully USA owned and produced.  *Not only that but they give scholarships to all children in their town who finish high school and are legal US citizens.. Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices. Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit? An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia . Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead. The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil: Shell.................................... 205,742,000 barrels Chevron/Texaco.................... 144,332,000 barrels Exxon /Mobil........................ 130,082,000 barrels Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels Amoco.................................. 62,231,000 barrels And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!) The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product. All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. But to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! Send this note to everyone you know, and tell them to send it. We need to do something, NOW !!! Buy American, and don't drive as much. We'll save lots of gas, and money. |
i would but none of the above are located anywhere around here so i'm stuck with shell
|
I already go to Arco as it's the closest to me and the cheapest. There is a Shell directly across the street from them at $.20 a gal. more. No thanks

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead I buy gas from wherever, but the closest place here is Sunoco, and considering the Sunoco Refinery is in Philly, it is a little bit cheaper. If im at my parents house, its Shell. And Chavez might "hate" America and want its destruction, but you have to complain to the US Military (thats right, they get their oil from Venezuela) in order to make an impact. Furthermore, at least people in Venezuela have something we don't have...FREE FUCKING HEALTHCARE. Same goes for Cuba and most of the industrialized world. Apparently you don't know how politics work, so let me clue you in. We pay the Saudis for their oil because THEY host OUR military bases in the area. No other country really has such a large presence for our troops. Take away the incentive, and the King of Saud has no real reason to be allied with the US or to host our bases. And that boycott of American goods was in 2002 in response to our Israli support, and another one occured in 2009 for the same reason. These days, the Saudi's still buy American goods in large numbers. Finally, I conclude with this: http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/saudigas.asp Have fun...I just shot your entire argument in the fucking foot. |
lol ba-ZING.'
but still... I like Amurhika. :t: |

Hate to bust the bubble but:
http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/saudigas.asp check it out, most of the info is not only old but false. |
How bout this...
Ill fill up with whatevers closest and cheaper. Im not going miles out of my way to fill up with american gas. Like I stated before in a previous thread; the most common gas stations in this area...hell...in most of florida are tom thumb, which uses citgo apparently. Theres a tom thumb up and down hwy 98 almost every 5 miles. and a bp, or a shell every 50 or so. |
Didn't we just talk about this the other day??
|
I use Chevron! it is right by my house.
My health care is also free. My company pays for 100% of it. and then for the detuctables i have the company gaves us HSAs and they put enough in it each year to cover all of my Deductables! |
i get my gas usually from Speedway. i go to whatever is cheapest.

I NEVER use Shell, Wal*Mart, Kroger, Amoco/BP. |
My dad works for Exxon Mobil so I fill up at Exxon/Mobil. If not I go with Shell.
|
I usually use bp or racetrac cause theyre right next to my apartment
|
I use the gas they sell on base here. If not I use Valero or Shell, but I don't really care as long as the gas fills up the tank.
