What do you think about this Mach?
Ok, I've started looking around and I found one that caught my eye. What do you think? The only bad thing is that it's an auto but mine is an auto now and I really don't mind it. I would just have more fun driving a stick. I emailed them to see if it was still available.

Looks absolutely clean, I don't see a single thing that would bother me if I was interested in buying in. With that mileage you could be pretty certain that it's been taken care of.
|
Well you already know how I feel about AB machs.
If it was a 5spd I'd buy it without even looking it over. lol. I'm so painting my car azure blue once it all comes together. |
The car looks great. I would really want the 5 speed though. 5 speed Machs also came with a much stronger crank than the autos.
|
1. the seller doeast list it as a Mach...do they know?
2. dont buy an automatic Mach...thats like sports car blasphemy. |
Don't buy something you don't want. If you buy it, then that whole new car factor will wear off in a few months or so and you'll be wishing you had a 5spd again. Wait for one to come around that has everything on it you want.

guys... its only a GT deluxe. lol
really, if it were me, i'd pick up that azura blue 3V in a heart beat, auto or not. the thing is a beast and has practically no milage. |

No. Look at the C-Pillar. The glass is the mach glass and everything.

yeah, it has to be a true mach,, nobody wouldnt spend that money to drop a 4v in it, and do the shaker hood combo, then do mach/bullit pillars, u can see from the engine pics the huge 4v aluminum heads. i wish that was here,, that'd be my car for the weekends.
|
Lol, yeah, It's definitely a Mach. I really don't mind auto. I would just have a lot more fun with a manual! (Especially with a Mach)
Just the mileage and the color really has me wanting to go down there and see what I can work out with them. I'm still waiting to see if it's still available though. It could possibly be sold already. :( |

There are plenty of people that would spend the money to make a clone. People do it all the time.
Amie, if your heart is set on it, go for it. If it's not, just wait for something else. :) Edit: I have a reading comprehension problem. You clearly didn't ask us what you should do, but what we think. I think it kicks ass and that you should get it if having an auto doesn't bother you. |
that mach is a bitchin example and appears unmolested with extremely low miles on it. If you don't mind the auto and you want a great car to build, that's the one I'd pick. Try finding a 5sp in similarly pristine condition if you want but that's a great car. The price is a little tall but offer 14k and see what you get.

clean looking car, and AB FTW :beerbang:
