First Mod!!!
 

Just got my first mod off of AM.. Nothing big just a BBK CAI, but I'm extremely happy.... Just had to tell someone... My wife isn't into this stuff so no use talkin to her...

oh you broke your cherry. :p modding is hella fun and addictive. Once you get one thing you enjoy it like the first time you wash and cruise the car, then you are over it and thinking bout what the next one will be.. its a sickness but a good one:D

i just saw your car domain and the stang is purrdddy. i like the porno interior havent seen that in a while. and the screen is pretty slick also. now get that thing rumbling with some exhaust mods

Thats exactly whats going on next if i don't get the BBK throttle body... slp loudmouths...

Porno interior? Does that refer to the red seats? If so, I refuse to say that my car has porno interior. That just sounds disgusting... like I'll have all kinds of unidentifiable stains on my seats. :shakeno:

And j_gutta, don't waste your money on a throttle body. Just get the Loudmouths. Congrats on the intake. :)

You might just do the slp lm's. It seems like your car has to be moded out for the throttle body to do you any good at all. Take a few moments to read some post's on here about it and see what you think. I want the lm1's for my stang. You can find some good sound clips on them and you just about got to getm.

good lookin out....... yea from everything i read i thought the throttle body would give me a little more horsepower but i'm going to look some threads up and see what i find out

Well it sure as hell isn't going to "increase airflow and improve horsepower from 15-20RWHP & an incredible 20-25 RWTQ " ...but it did say that the results vary by application. Meaning that to get these sort of numbers, you'll need to do more modding. An intake isn't going to bring in so much more air that you need to get a new TB.

on the 05-09s you will see 15-20 if you do and intake and tune I assume the numbers that they give for that TB a tied in with an intake and tune the TB probably does very little

i was being sarcastic... i figured that i might get at the most 5 horsepower... and with a few more mods it would come in better use... but now i'm not so sure... what would be a mod that would need a throttle body? maybe this would help me decide if it would be needed..

FI or very serious engine work (every bolt on plus heads and a cam)

You are far far better off getting a custom tune to really make the car quicker. a TB and or axleback is not gonna make that car faster hardly at all.

I know a axleback won't do anything it just makes my car sound meaner... which is why i'm gettin that and a x pipe... it does look like i will just go with a tune next though or maybe the exhaust

do the exhaust next. It may not give the most hp, but there is nothing more enjoyable then starting the car, tapping the gas pedal and having instant gratification from the motor making sweet sweet noises!
