The final (online exam) that I thought was Wednesday (all of our quizzes/tests always are) was actually today. So I got a 0, and in turn failed the course.

The best part is that it's Environmental science, a worthless General studies hippy class that has nothing to do with anything I'm going to college for.

Well there goes my GPA right into the shitcan. :mad:

Just talk to your teacher and see what you can do. If you are nice about it and everything, they'll usually let you take it late. You'll probably have to take like a one letter grade reduction or something, but anything is better than a 0.

how was your grade going into the exam

She took attendance on random days and I got 50/90 on that, 80/110 on in class assignments, C average on the quizzes (forgot a couple) and a B on our other exam.

So..yeah........... fucked. I sent her an email but I doubt she'll open it back up, she's a real bitch.

I hate to be a dick but going to class is key:(

I make sure I write down my exam schedule at the begining of the semester.

Keep you hopes up, you can always try your schools ombudsman if she won't let your take it.

welcome to the core requirements before you get into your major/minor. I hated the first year or 2 because of the core classes

You guys don't have a grade forgiveness program? We're able to retake up to two classes with grade forgiveness which means that when we re-take the class, our old grade is wiped clean and it's as if it never even happened.

CHEATER! haha. just kidding. I kinda wish we had that though. But yeah just being in class helps the grade a ton. we get 3 free days to skip and anything after that starts to hurt the grade. +1 on hating finals, have all mine this week and next week

Yeah I know going to class is important, but this class is 2 hours after my graphics class so I have to find something to do for 2 hours, often I get bored and just want to do something else so I leave campus.

She emailed me back saying I could write a summary of everything that was covered on the final for 'some' credit. so I guess I'm going to give her a 20 page paper and pray for a C or something.

I was going to just have 1 more Gen studies class to go before I'm a Junior, now it looks like I need to do 2 more...

She could of gave you mored detail or did you chose to write 20 pgs?

BTW general education credits don't really mean much anyway.

yeah i know the feeling, my monday - wednesday schedule is 8:25am, 9:50am and then 3:50pm classes are roughly 1hr and 15 min long.

Fuck your life. I can't believe she wouldn't just let you retake it. Esp. being online, she just has to extend it. I mean come on, why the fuck would you skip that on purpose. Hey at least you did good in Algebra. Thanks to me... lol.

My freshman year, me and a guy down the hall had a softball class together, yeah softball. It was at 8am, I enjoyed waking up and getting some exercise, the other guy was a fat ass and liked to sleep in, even wanted me to knock on his door to wake him up some days. We had three grades in that class, Attendance, Book test, and a Skills test worth 33.3 each. Easiest class in the world, this guy sleeps in and ends up missing the skills test day and fails. He begs for forgiveness, instructor (who was the hottie assistant softball coach for the college team) lets him write a four page paper, he ends up with a B.

Jesus... In three years of college, I never missed a single day. I even went to school the day my Audi was smashed at the entrance to the parking lot (though I was quite late :p.) Looks like you need to work on your attendance. If you're good in all of the areas, but you f*ck up in one, sometimes a teacher will give you a break. But if you screw around, then they are usually less willing to help you out.

I got screwed on one of those goofy online courses that was on stupid rediculous stuff. I didnt post up some stupid 3 sentence response on some class forum once a week and it killed my grade. The ta wouldnt give me any slack
