Awesome that is a great comment and you should brag!

Slim03GT 04-10-2009 12:27 PM

I wanna hearrrrrrrr

00blkstanggt 04-10-2009 12:39 PM

Congrats man. Did you get your car back yet from the shop? If so, when I stop by saturday I can get a nice little sound clip for you to put up. One thats a little better than your cell phone vids.haha

SnTBakosFinest 04-10-2009 04:58 PM

dynotune kits are the same as any other, just not a huge brand like NX/NOS/ZEX.. I use a dynotune kit..

SnTBakosFinest 04-10-2009 05:00 PM

FYI red that fuel rail adapter you have..the block...is a peice of shit. And may leak fuel. Its for the 05+ models, and for some reason they send it still. I'd just get the reg schrader valve adapter...

It's tuesday now... paint issues with the fibreglass hood. They had to repaint it.

Thanks for the tip. I have a set of billet rails and a showerhead distribution block so I hadn't planned on using it really. There's an extra port in the dist block which I'm just going to use the third port on. See pic below. I didn't want anything but the FPR hanging of my rails.

Dynotunenitrous makes some really neat and high quality stuff. They've made a few really groundbreaking additions to the marketplace. They're also the least costly kit and their support is usually pretty solid. If you're a n00b Zex is the shizzle, if you're not a n00b but you don't like to have to think about your kit, NX/NOS/etc... are great. If you're down to have to think about your kit or your car is so non-standard that you'd just have to fabricate the kit in anyway, then DTN is the best. Their kits bolt up fast and easy but if you have to modify them the DTN kits seem easiest to do that with.

Badfish 04-11-2009 10:26 AM

nice!

RCTrucker7 04-11-2009 12:03 PM

A new keyboard awesome bro!

Hey, I'd brag about it too!!! :D

Just kidding!

I figure if there are any people on here who deserves to brag a little bit, you're definitely one of them.

3.8for the win 04-11-2009 12:04 PM

very nice man, i want to hear it!!!!!!!

stanger00 04-11-2009 12:04 PM

IP still blocked...fucking fags blocking foreign IP's

SnTBakosFinest 04-11-2009 12:38 PM

Love that fitting you've got lol. So.. you do roadrace mainly right? If not..take that 5.5 to the drag strip and throw some nitrous at it..i'd love to see what it does in the 1/4 lol.

BTW that shop that fabbed up your headers, do they do other work as well as far as fabrication goes? I'd like to check them out for a few things..

r3dn3ck 04-12-2009 11:02 AM

I can set anyone up with a fitting set like that. It was basically the minimum I needed in order to put a secondary fuel filter in the mix before the rails. Cost is about 150 bucks, sometimes less.

I do mostly road race and a little auto-x. I do have definite plans to take it to the strip and see what it'll slap down on the juice and off.

RennSpeed is the racing side of RennWerks and did the header fab. They're exquisite quality but they can take a long time to get stuff done. If you'd like to talk to the owner I'll set you up with his number. Depending on the sort of thing that you need done I may know a better fabricator for it. RW/RS has since fragmented into two companies as well.... the maintenance side and the racing side are now owned by different people and operate as separate entities. I had complaints about the time taken for the header project but I can't honestly say a single negative thing about their work.

EDIT: Stanger, send me an email addy and I'll send you the links to raw files for all my videos that are hosted on my server. I don't block any IP's at layer 3 or 7 so you'll be able to see them.

SnTBakosFinest 04-12-2009 01:06 PM

Yea, fitting probably wouldn't be suitable for my application. I'm just searching for someone to fabricate my throttlebody plate.. so far no one wants to take on the task..

Accufab HSP and a few others have shot me down.

foncarelli 04-13-2009 10:18 AM

you have put a lot of heart and soul into your car, so its cool to brag.

a simple plate should be easy.. tell me more. Perhaps I can chop one up for you.

SnTBakosFinest 04-13-2009 04:08 PM

Just a simple nitrous throttlebody plate, for a single stage. Thottlebody is a stock 99-04 TB size (forget what size that is lol)

Same sort of plate you'd find for a 4.6..just smaller..

spike_africa 04-13-2009 05:16 PM

Buy a v6 throttle body spacer and drill and tape for nitrous nozzle and toda you got what you want.

For some reason, I don't think its that easy, but idk, maybe it is *shrugs*

spike_africa 04-13-2009 08:46 PM

Depending on how long your nozzle is thats all you gotta do. I know a few companies sell nozzle that are even longer for direct port setups and you can use that.
