Turning 21 sucks (kind of)
 

Went out Monday night..watched Michigan State get their ass kicked and got hammered. Had to do some dumb ass Hooters dance with plates and paper cups for a beak..got up for work before 8...Went out last night and have class this morning...worst decision ever. I don't remember leaving the bar last night but man I feel like shit now. I guess the only good thing is I only spent 10$ last night tipping the waitress. All this hype around your 21st birthday and I just want it to go away haha.

LOL!! Many more hangovers and expensive nights ahead brother. Being 21 is overrated.

lol i got 13 months till my 21st b day but my gf turns 21 this month

The only thing about turning 21 that I am looking forward is being able to buy drinks legally and be able to go out and drink rather than have to stay home or at party. It's just frustrating to have to wait in the car when we go to the liquor store hahaha. I am going to get slammed at my 21st birthday, but the drinking really wouldn't be the focus point for me.

Same here, My gf is 8 months older than me and turned 21 back in November, it's more fun taking her out to dinner now.

21 is awesome after that who cares about how old you are. I seem to care less and less about my birthday as time goes on and I only just turned 24.

turning 21 is overrated especially since i was in europe from when i was 18 til i turned 21... you can do everything in europe at 18 that you only get to in the states at 21.. haha.... best thing is your insurance drops a little

Hokie, sounds like you need to learn the most important lesson of all.. "Self-control." If you know you've got shit to do the next day, don't stay out all night drinkin' and partying, you'll learn that after a few still-hammered morning-afternoon's at work/school.

dunno...I always thought it was the retal companie's rule.. dunno...ive been 25 for 5 years...so I never bothered to figure it out.

I have plenty of self control... I'm not dumb enough to do this on a weekly occasion by any means. You only turn 21 once in a lifetime, so I figured work/school could take a back seat for once haha

Hell I am 36 now and I cant even remember turning 21...I think the biggest bday I recall is at 25, for some reason I think I was depressed or something for like a wk for some reason or another...but havent looked back since.

heck I have to stop and think how old I am some times when someone ask...

Ill be 21 this christmas. So, not only will like..everything be closed, most of my friends will be spending time with their families. So Im going to be very limited on shit to do for my 21st bday..

I didn't celebrate my 21st birthday until I turned 22.. I was so broke when I turned 21 all I could afford was a 6-pack and to sit on the couch. I went big this year though. 10 shots of various different types & combinations of alcohol, everything from Jager bombs, liquid cocaine and buttery nipples to smirnoff and got knows what else... Needless to say, I was very, very trashed. :p

I would have skipped class the next day, lol.

Test day. Believe me...I would have never got out of bed if it wasn't.

And yeah WN, I lost track of the shots I took. The four horsemen or something like that was a killer. I think it was like vodka, tequila, whiskey, and rum all mixed in one shot haha.

Me too! My birthday is coming up in less than a month. Twenty friggin' six. :(

i got 2 months until i turn twenty one. i cant wait. i have found myself drinking less and less since im getting so close to 21. just not worth getting caught at this point in time. my buddy turns 21 a couple days after me, so me, him, and a buddy of ours who turned 21 in sept are going bar hopping.

I was caught for underage drinking at the nice age of 15 up in PA when I was visiting friends & family for the summer in the old town I used to live in. (I actually only had one beer and it wasn't even finished)

I had my license suspended for three months before I even had it. I payed $300+. The cop detained me and read me my rights while I waited for my aunt to come get me.

21st bday - Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Islands of Adventure, and Sangria. :)

19 here.........haven't even been drunk...lol

i just think of myself as a 21 year old with 4 years of experience. i'm waitin for my new policy to come out to see what savings i will.

I'm 23 and I have never been drunk, either. I don't drink, though. I don't see the point of it. If I ever did drink, I'd have to force myself to get drunk. A can of Coke will last me a whole 8 hour day at work, and most of the time, I don't even finish that. :eek:

I didn't really do anything on my 21st birthday. It just wasn't that important to me. I wasn't the least bit excited or even bummed about it. It was just another day. My fiance, dad, favorite uncle, and best friend took me out to dinner and the only thing I drank was sweet tea. :cool:

didn't really do much for 21-22 birthdays but i just turned 23 2 weeks ago and i had the weekend of my life!!! Women, weed, drinking, women.....lol. My friends threw my a party I'll never forget. Let's just say the first night of the weekend.....I woke up in the middle of the living room next to some fine ass chick.......butt-ass-naked!! Great times. LOL

my 21st was spent in iraq...i got wild with red bulls balloons and a giant sling shot! when we ran out of baloons we started to launch near beer at the goats or sheep lhamas whatever they are fucking called.
