i Estimate with my good driving record a MINIMUM of 250 a month, so since i dont want to pay all that much, with 6% interest i would have to spread the loan out over TEN YEARS

so 10 year loan, 50k, 6% interest, that is 555 a month (800 per month with insurance)

In 2019, i would have paid 50k principle, another $16,661 in interest

and I would FINALLY be the proud owner of a 15 year old Viper.


Man, i know your situation is different than mine, i know i make good money, but i also have a mortgage and a house. There is no WAY a 50k car loan is even remotly responsible to even SANE for that matter.

When it comes to Vipers, Z06's, Ford GT's or any other performance car that is over $50,000, if you cant pay for it cash, you cant afford it.

OKOKOK, so i finally read through this WHOLE thread.

First let me clear up, I asked to be de-modded, not because of Stephen4036 but because of EVERYONE ELSE. Stephen4036 was just the person this all revolved around. Yes, i think he is an idiot, but i do not have any personal grudge with him.

I got countless emails bitching about his behavior. Some of it i agreed with, some of it i thought was a bit whiney. I asked the other mods, they said ban, i have him a T-ban even though some said P-Ban, so i T banned him. Then people started crying because he got banned. And other people were crying cause it was only Temp. Then he came back, a bunch of posters were mad he was allowed back, and my first impression was he had no intention of even TRYING to behave so i banned him again and all of the sudden people were whining and bitching.

I get one here for fun. Not for work. basically, i just dont want to deal with it anymore, I had more fun as a regular poster.

I have a son who is almost 2 years old, he is clearly in his terrible twos. If i want to hear crying ill go take his crayons away.

Personally, i hvent had anything given to be but great parents and love. Everything else i have i worked for, i havent recieved a dime from my parents since i moved out after i graduated highschool. Everything i have i have achieved for myself. It may not be the nicest, but it definatly is better than a lot of other stuff and im grateful my hard work has paid off.

HOWEVER, If my parents asked me to move into a 1.5 million dollar house my **** would already be moved in before they finished asking me, and i garaun-damn-tee you i woould take a chunk of what i was paying for mortgage and put that into payments on a GT500.

Having rich parents does not make you a bad person, living in a 1.5 million dollar house does not make you a douchebag, but constantly griping at somebody because they are lucky enough to be in an awesome situation is pretty petty.

There aint a damn person on here who would tell thier parents "Im sorry, i would rather take my 50k a year and try to buy a shitty house i can barely afford in a crappy crime ridden neighborhood where my wife and i can worry about my kid buying meth down the street when he turns 12"

I have busted my *** my whole life to get what i have. A lot of people on here have. And it aint easy. Its rewardeing yes, but at the same time as much as i HAVE busted my *** in life i feel i SHOULD have a little more, and a mortgage free 1.5.million dollar house is defaintly something i would appreciate and enjoy.

Damn, I didn't realize that Dodge put that same CD player in all of their cars, seems like they would have some kind of an upgrade or something for a car like that.. I've got the same one in my R/T along with the 7 speaker infinity system.

The lexus looks nice for a toyota.. I kid 'cause I care..

 

Even though the Lexus is very classy and nice, it is a little too cluttered for my tastes.

I like the interior of the Dodge, but I think it could use a little more blue here and there, to pull it together. Not quite as classy, but more clean and sleek. And for some reason, I really like that shift ****. It looks awesome.

 

I've always liked the line of gauges running down on the Viper. My biggest gripe with the viper though, is the fact that the dead pedal area is tooooo freakin narrow. Shifting that thing and then trying to put my foot in that area is a pain. It barely fits.

Oh and ZR1 is much > super snake.

 

I hate to say it, but my love for the Viper is going to shine through here.. I'd take a Viper like that over any Mustang except for two.. The Super Stallion (concept car) I'm thinking it was a 5.4 with a roots blower that ran on flex fuels, ethanol/gas, and the Shadrach TT 900+ HP.

Basically a Terminator with an SN95 body, but so much better.

BUT.. I would take this car over any car.. Ever. This is the '01 version, I think. Hennessey Venom 1000, only car (that I know of) to beat the Bugatti Veyron from 0 to 200 MPH.

 

The ssc ultimate aero TT beats the veyron form 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile has more HP a higher top speed and it's lighter so I think it beats the veyron 0-200

but the venom beats it by about .15 in the quarter with 4 extra mph

 

While the Shadrach has some great hp, it's ugly as ****. I'm sorry, but I will agree with you on the viper. When my friends dad had the TT 03 viper, the blow off valves were so damn loud, it sounded like someone was cracking a whip right by your ear.

 

They're all ****** fast, but the Viper looks better doin' it!


I would change just a couple of things about the Shadrach, but not a whole lot. I think all of the scoops on the car are indeed functional, the air cleaners for the turbos are up near the front of the hood, so those small scoops feed them more air. The scoops on the side are functional brake ducts.. It's just a flat out nasty car.

I've always been a sucker for the Vipers, all the way back to the '98 GTS, Blue with the White racing stripes. I think I'd probably pee my pants if I ever actually got to drive one. lmao, jk.

that black TT Viper is an 03-06.

my viper has nothing blue inside of it. Only a few special edition ones came with the blue shift **** and the blue steering wheel.

I got rid of my shift **** and put a tiny MGW shiftknob in it.

Even though you don't have anything blue, I bet it's still slick as hell. The only time I saw the inside of a Viper was at a car show and the guy who owned it had it fagged out. The interior was shiny-*** red... too much red. Damn near everything but the carpet the seats, and the steering wheel and maybe a few other things was red. He ruined the inside of that car. Other than that, it was perfect on the outside. It was damn sure a show winner.

Hennesey viper's are the ****, but I have read a few horror story's from customer's. Supposibly he was ripping customer's off by selling their stock parts without their permission and pocketing the cash.
