Default Just my fuggin luck.

Man, you wanna talk about a bad day, I've had one. So, my car's been in the shop getting headers installed and getting a tune up before school. I got it back this morning only to discover a big gash right in the sidewall of my tire. I decided to air it back up and drive it to the Mechanic and complain. As I'm airing it up my nephew locks my keys in the running car. Hot damn.

I bust in my car with a coat hangar and drive the car up to the shop. Because I didn't notice the gash when it was there, he has a right to assume that I may have done it. So instead of completely replacing it, he'll only pay half. I'm racing on a track this semester so no way in hell am I getting a patch, so here I am paying half for a new tire.

Yeah, once you leave the shop then anything you notice wrong won't hold up in court unfortunately.

Next time just take your business somewhere else.

Yeah, your actually lucky he is nice enough to pay half. I usually hang around when my car is in the shop if I don't know the techs just to make sure no funny business is going on. The really sucks though. You talking about drag racing? Or real racing where you move the steering wheel? (lol, j/k)

Remember, **** Happens and then after that, Some more **** gonna Happen. Sorry for your luck ! Half was better than whole in this case. Normally a hole is better than a gash

haha 01fr, the real steering wheel kind. Some road course fun at Hallett motor speedway. Pics and vids ftw! Yeah, my problems are nothing in the scheme of things. It's just weird cause the guy that owns the shop is my best bud's dad so I thought it would be okay. The headers work great! Funny though, about murphey's law, when I got the new tire put on they couldn't air it up because their machine broke!! lol!

I have seriously thought about making a trip to Hallett this year. When are you going? Also, why Hallett and not MSR Houston since it's closer?

I'm up at John Brown U near UoA, so technically Hallett is closer . My buddy's dad is the president of the midamerica shelby meet and drives hallett every year, so he wants me him and my friend chris to rent it for a day. We need 5 people to rent it.... should I let you know more details later?? hmmm? haha

Yeah let me know for sure, because it's either Hallett or a track day with the Porche club in Memphis. Both if funds allow.
