Matrix Revisited. Why Neo is a Jerk.
Yes i know, these movies are a bit old now, but i just had to share this after a conversation i had with a friend.
Of course everyone is familiar with "The Matrix" series, great exciting movies with incredible special effects and brilliant cinemaphotography. But something never quite sat right with me with those movies, a couple nights ago my buddy Jeff was up and we got into a conversation about these movies and figured out the problem. Neo and hus buddie are a bunch of self centered ********.
First off, they are mass murderers. Think of all those agents they shoot at. We all know damn good and well that the agents take over the body of some unsuspecting victim, once the agent is shot the host is also dead, and since if you die in the matrix, you die in real life. Understandable to a small fucked up degree when they are shooting at you for being somewhere you probably shouldnt be, but what about when NEO goes apeshit and haul *** through the streets so fast that the air around him throws cars into buildings and tears the windows out of the buildings? WTF is that ****? Your hairy couger of a girlfriend is hurt, so you blaze through the city causing untold casualties and costing billions of dollars of damage, when your stupid *** could have just stayed a couple hundred feet in the air and not killed all those innocent men women and children who were killed in your wake? WTF?
Second, we all know the real world sucks. It consists of a big ol cave inhabited by a bunch of grimey ravers who like to dance more than shower and eat some protien creation that looks and apparently tastes like snot. So your life sucks. And you are there to destroy the "EviL" matrix that has everyone plugged into a relativly decent place to live where you can lead normal lives and enjoy the fruits of your labor and even get to eat steak, drive a nice car, live in a house with a yard *(instead of a dirty sub cavre) and actually feel the warmth of the sun on thier face, albeit not quite real, but far more than those spiteful ******** in ZION ever get to encounter.
Next, lets thing about this stupid cave they live in. We all know that the sky was "blackened" in the way and nothing grows on the surface, living underground was the only way. They live in a cave that lets just say can house up to 100 MILLION people once they shut the matrix down. Now, seeing as nobody knows exactly the time frame, lets just assume the robots did not breed upmore people but kept the number to 7 billion.... that means when you shut down the matrix, that 1,000,000 people get to live in a **** cave with a bunch of extacy popping raver retards, and the other 6,900,000,000 people instead get kicked out of thier pods in the fields and dropped into the slimy mucky ground and they all get to fuckind die. Ok? They ALL DIE, some faster than others, and even as the cannibalism runs rampant people STILL will die of malnurishment because they dont have exactly have the whole food pyramid represented when they are feasting upon the corpses of thier fellow people.
Furthermore, think about this. Families. Once the matrix is shut down, guess who you WONT see? Good ol DAD. Thats right. It is safe to assume that the woman in the matrix really do get prenant in real life, and it is also safe to assume they dont transport the baby too far from the mother. However, the dad could be in ******* Bangledesh for all he knows. Traveling in the viortual world but staying right smack where he is in the real world. Imagine being having a wife and a few kids, then one day you simple snap out of what you believed was real and end up in a cold dark world with nothing to eat except those who have already died.
In the matrix Neo, Trinity, and Morpheus all tote themselves as saviors, as freedom fighters, all doing thier damndest to return a massive population of people into the real world which is not capable of sustaining them without the help of the Matrix, and after the 6.9 billion people who will die, do die, what is for the rest? the survivors? they all get to go live in a ******* cave, feed on a snotlike protien creation, never see a sunrise again, and be stuck dealing with a bunch of extacy popping ravers.
**** THAT, leave me in the matrix.
It seems to me that the Matrix, and the Humans have become symbiotic, the matrix is not killing people, it is cultivating, keeping them safe and letting them live what they believe to be normal lives, lives that would not be possible without the help of the matrix. The matrix tends to the people keeping them going which im SURE is quite a task, and the humans on the other hand provide the power to the Matrix, which in turn keeps them alive. This is a symbiotic relationship that involves no war, no killing, and no ill will. The people no longer have to worry about global warming, they dont have to worry about an asteroid hitting thier planet because the matrix will prevent it from happening. The "Resistance" however really seems to be a cancer that is doing uits damndest to disrupt this delicate balance and cause the death of literally BILLIONS of people in the process all in the name of some prophetic holy war, and running through the towns on a personal level playing rambo and killing women, men, old people, even children, even though they know damn good and well that the agent will not die.
Yes, we can all agree humans as batteries leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but the fact is the earth has become an extremly hostile and uninhabitable place for the masses, and the matrix provides a possibility for that life to not only continue, but to continue comfort. The fact of the war with the machines is irrellevant, the matrix needs the people and the people need the matrix. At this point the real issue is survival. I mean hell, imagine if the matrix just built up some fat nanotube cables and launched a few hundred thousant solar sattelite3s that beam the power back through the nanotube cables to the matrix? it could just be done with people altogether, my reccommendation is to not be more difficult than you need to be if you want to survive, the matrix DOES hold all the cards.
It seems to me that the real monster are the spiteful vendictive E-crazed ravers who are mad cause thier life sucks, so they want to kill everyone else and the few who dont die will have to live thier same **** life.

My buddy jeff and i were up driking late.. this is the kind of crap we get into. well, not usually movie stuff, but we talk about a lot of random **** and this came up.

If I were Neo at the beginning, I would have chosen the blue pill. I think it was the blue one that just put you back where you were, safe and sound, Movie over. Shortest movie ever if it were me.. LOL,,

hahahah....i too have had these "conversations" funny what alchohol/drugs do to the mind....the matrix is not real. freedom is always better than slavery.

at that point being released from the matrix spells certain death for 99.99% of the population, the remainder are forced to live in a cave.... seems there is more freedom to live as you want in the matrix. After all, the matrix is not killing innocent people are, the so called rebels are the only ones killing people.
