That is a very good point.. Bothy of my plasma's are from Panasonic which arguably makes the best plasmas available.

I had a friend who went out and got a Plasma years back, he spent less than 1,000, and this was back when the EDTV's were going for nearly 2,000.

It was something that started with a V, i dont think it was Visio, i think it was actually "Voila" or some crap like that... the thing diddnt even do 480P it was total garbage and broke on him within a year. The remote was the cheapest POS i ever saw too, something akin to a $15 VCR's included remote.

My 480P ED plasma is still running strong and looks fantastic. 3+1/2 years now i think.

not really, the phrase flat panel and flat screen are both used all the time when talking about TV's...

JackThe Ripper 12-28-2008 08:24 PM

Yes they are both used all of the time, and they have different meanings and apparently you are the last person on earth not to recognize that.

the reference to Flat Panel Tv's is to reffer to direct view LCD and Plasma TV's

Flat Screen is used to reffer to a screen that is not curved like the older tube tv's..

Now that you know this you will probably get less confused looks from everyone else that already knows this.

lol
