What's my car worth?

5 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I was hoping you all could give me ballpark estimates for what I could hope to get for my car selling to a private party.

2001 Mustang GT Deluxe (Mineral Gray)
5-speed
51,xxx miles

It's fully loaded, Mach 460, charcoal leather interior, traction control, ABS, etc.

Modifications:

Drivetrain:
FRPP 4.10s
Spec Stage 2 Clutch
Spec Billet Steel Flywheel
Maximum Motorsports Clutch Quadrant/Firewall Adjuster
13" Cobra Brakes w/ Stoptech SS lines

Suspension:
Full-length, welded subframe connectors
H&R SuperSport lowering springs
Maximum Motorsport 4-bolt caster/camber plates

Interior:
Mach 1 silver radio and shifter bezel
Mach 1 Pedal covers
Corbeau Legacy racing seats
10th Anniversary Cobra floormats
10th Anniversary Cobra shift knob w/ 5-speed pattern
Peripheral Mach 460 iPod interface (completely hidden)

Exterior:
Mach 1 Grill Delete
Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
2004 Cobra Mirrors
8" Black Shorty Antenna
20% Tint (properly done w/ high quality tint and black vinyl on the top of the rear window)
Riveted Gunmetal Saleen replica rims (18x9 in front, 18x10 in rear)
Nitto 555 tires (285/35/18 and 265/35/18) w/ 4k miles on them
Sylvania Silverstars

The car is custom tuned with an X-Cal 2, which would be included with the car.

Problems:
There's a door ding on the driver's side rear fender.
The radio knob is fickle and sometimes does the opposite of what you want it to.
The tensioner pulley squeaks.

I'm the second owner (got it from CarMax with 33k miles on it) and it has been meticulously cared for ever since. It is garaged and has never been to a track. All of the modifications were installed professionally by Excessive Motorsport in Manasas, VA.

Thanks!

i think you would do better selling as many of the after market parts as possible.

around ware i live a stock GT with 50k miles brings like 15k i would say yours is worth 18-20k.

but why are you selling it?

15K-20K on an 01??? Don't know that seems a bit high to me. Maybe for an 04/05. I would say between 8-10K. The mods won't up it much so your probably better off dishing those out separately. Except for the seats I would pay you extra for the seats included in the car. So my ballpark figure would be 8-10K with 11K probably being max. Unless you find someone into Mustangs then they might pay a little extra for the mods

Thats what 05+ GTs go for, I think he'd have trouble getting that much for it. It is a nice clean ride though.

Go to kbb.com and enter your information there. Just act as if you're searching for a used car to buy, and enter the closest information you can. It should tell you at the end about how much your car is worth.

I did it for my area, but I don't know exactly what your vehicle came with when it was stock, so, I could be off. But Kbb.com tells me it's worth about $8,630 in my area. Also remember it could be different for different areas, and maybe you could throw a little more on the for mods. Also, give yourself room so if someone tries to talk you down, you're at a price that you're comfortable with.

Good luck!

In my area I would say 12k~ would be a good guess, and I don't think I would have a problem paying 12k at all for it.

Here you'd get around 15-16k for that.
