pls ppls, reply me, what is a mach 1 racing? my science teacher told me that it is car that is the same speed as light. i dun really think it is possible, but someone pls reply, i love racing cars and i will hate myself for not knowong this one. pls reply

its a supercar made by hyundai.

runs 1/4 mile in less than a second at 186,000miles/second.

LMAO @ The reply! Someone has a sick sense of humor... I can imagine the kid that asked the question now.. "Have you guys heard of the Hyundai Mach 1?' It does like 200,000mph!"

Correct me if im wrong, which i don't think i am, but the term "Mach 1" actually means an object such as an airplane traveling the speed of sound?

So the dudes teacher isn't that far off.

Yeah.. it refers to a certain speed.

Not quite as fast as his teacher said.. but over 760 mph.
