I think the car's real. Other than that, there's no such thing as an eleanor mustang, unless you count the cervini's kit that they put on.

when you say fake what are you talking about, looks like a mustang GT with an c-500 body kit.

zigzagg321 04-08-2008 05:46 PM

for 24k its not a bad deal really, for a 2008 GT. even if it were totally stock.

yeah a real good deal esp. with only 250 miles. Id jump on that deal.

Something doesn't seem right with this. It looks like it's sitting in a puddle of gear oil. But even with just 250 miles, it seems the price is too low for an 08 GT with wheels and ground effects. He may have busted something during the 200 + miles he drove it.. Maybe he just parked it in a puddle of oil. LOL, Dumbass if he did.

Yeah thats way too cheap. A bone stock 08 GT is probably that price, and that kit is probably around 10 grand.

Black Sunshine 04-09-2008 07:24 AM

It looks like the person that's trying to sell it actually photoshopped/MS painted the 'Eleanor' onto the headrests of the driver's side seat (see photo 10 out of 13). It looks pixelated around the edges. Hell, I don't know. I've never seen or even heard of one that has 'Eleanor' on the headrests. Like Nofire said, the only Eleanor I have seen in relation to the Mustang is the Cervini body kit.

SeanStang 04-09-2008 11:46 AM

That puddle is right under the exhaust tip, so maybe he had it running with the ac on for a bit. I know people that spent $8k for the full Eleanor kits + paint. Looks like only engine mods was an intake and the pony manifold cover. As for the stitching in the head rest it could just look wierd in the picture but i agree does look photoshopped there, but that will obvious in person if its actually their or not. Yeah makes you wonder, why selling so cheap....

Dream 04-09-2008 12:00 PM

they did come out with an "elenor" mustang here. its about $50K+ for it in canada though and its got about 400hp in it. i really dun think its real, just due to the price. and i dont remember havin that on the head rest either.

SeanStang 04-09-2008 12:06 PM

Yeah they have Eleanors for sale here too. Their not real though... just some shops that throw the body kits on them and supercharge them and sell them as an "eleanor". Very pricy.

could be a scam. contact em. see if they're "in another country because their brother had a heart attack and can only take a money transfer at the time."

And I think the cover can be had from the factory now so that might be stock too.

WNRacing 04-10-2008 11:03 AM

Who cares? If I had the cash, I'd take it. Brand new GT with what looks like a c-500 body kit for $24k.. Looks good to me.
