Xenon Lights
Who makes the brightest/darkest blue xenon lights on the market? Because I bought Eurodesigns and they arent very blue at all. I'm goin for that kinda projector light look can anyone help?
|
i got mine from http://www.xenonlightshid.com/ i just ordered them so they arent here but i hear VERY GOOD things about them...and as far as prices they're great
|
I heard u lose ur high beams and i didnt wanna get them because they dont have any bulbs for the fog lights!!
|
nope if you go to yoru year stang with this ceratain model you dont have to buy highs...they have a "low" and a "high" settign so you keep you highs
and they do have fog bulbs...i ordered them... |
o ok! No way! What yr do you have, show me a direct link to where these fog light bulbs are? And we are talking about the bmw blue color bulbs right???///
|
Nevermind, its the ultra white bulbs! I see now!
|

yeah dude...after seeing a bunch of pics..(and on ebay i checked feed back 99.5% positive) i decided to get fogs and headlights
|
Is visbility still good cuz with my other car i had white bulbs n i didnt have much visibility. And is it hard to install bulbs? Do i have to take off my headlight n jus screw in bulb? I will prolly wait until u post pics before i order them!
|
havent changed any bulbs but i have changed the housing and atleast on my car it was 2 clips per light and the whole assemble comes out. very easy.

IMO...sylverstars are the best bang for the buck! I've heard bad things about replacement xenon bulbs.....the only was they put out a brighter light is by running more watts, therefore causing more stress which can cause heat and burn you headlight wiring! I don't know if thats the case with these http://www.xenonlightshid.com/......but if youre looking for something thats made to oem specs and will give you a nice white light, sylverstars are the way to go! Unless your're getting the real HID conversions, xenon bulbs don't look too good, but thats just me!

I had silverstars when i got my car...(previous owner put them in) and look how they looked (my avatar) ...so i dunno about them
|
ive got silverstar in the headlights and fogs. Silverstars for bulbs, or a full retrofit from an HID equipped OEM vehicle, or dont waste your money.

If you are just upgrading bulbs, go with silverstars. dont waste your money on any other garbage ricebulbs
OR Do a FULL RETROFIT from an OEM equipped vehicle into your headlights. It will cost but its literally like having daylight come out of your headlights at night. |
Welll i got my lights from that site...only did the headlights and not the fogs...
here's Sylvannia Sylverstars (or however you spell) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y25...rangLisize.jpg heres with the HI LITE headlights http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y25...on/Xenons2.jpg its dark as hell in the xenon pic but the headlights are so bright they act as a flash kind of. lol. |
oh yeah here's w/ the brights...you cant really tell in this pic but they have a bit more of a bluish tint and are VERY bright
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y25...n/Brights2.jpg and im very happy with this purcahse...only 30 bucks for fogs and headlights...i had silverstars b4 and i wasnt happy, so if you want to pay 40 bucks a bulb..but ill keep paying 30 bucks for four bulbs that look the same if not better :glasses9: |
Im switching to HIDs soon with bi-xenon projectors.

Do the work yourself and it shouldnt cost more than 450 depending on which projectors and ballasts you want to use. Youll want a bi-xenon setup so you dont lose your highs. If you ship it off for someone else to do whos experienced, it can cost up to 300 bucks for the work alone. Not cheap but its badass. :jerk: |
Springstang, how many watts is that bulb?
|
They explain it as 7000k "color temperature" and they say it draws 50-65 watts (Oem standards)...got the fogs in, when it gets dark here ill take some pics
|
Xenons are way different from HID's right??
