So the new kitt is a ford? Wasn't the original a firebird?

yep...its official now...thats the new kitt....it will be fun to watch...especially when kitt breaks down and....ooops...ford joke...anyway...i was kind of hoping they would do some newage firebird up based on the new camaro platform just for shits and giggles...but this looks cool

I liked the old KITT. This one doesn't really look like anything special. It looks just like a Shelby witht he red lights in front. They should bring back the firebird since they are bring back Hasselhoff.
