Another cop story....
 

Just got back from the Wisconsin Dells with the entire family for a little weekend getaway. Trip was fun, nothing to exciting but a good time to say the least. On friday, we headed out to see Rush Hour 3 at around 10:30. Movie was funny, everyone was happy yada yada. On the way back from the movie, I'm just driving peacefully down the road and pull up to a light. Light turns green.....flashing lights behind me....shit:argue: This guy was a jackass. He had that damn smirk on his face the entire time. He was looking for every possible way to give me as many tickets as he could, just like any dick cop would do. First he tries to nail me for "screeching the tires" which was such bs and he knew it. Argued over that for a good minute or two, then hes like fine w/e and he starts checking out my entire car. Ended up getting a ticket for tints, and no cats and warnings for tinted 3rd brakelight and loud exhuast. total comes to 350 bucks for two tickets!!!:argue: Heres the best part, while the cop was writing up the ticket, one of his buddys pulls up in his squad car. They both just chilling and laughing their asses off and making jokes and all of that. Then he gets the balls to pull right next to me, he nods and smiles then floors its to about 100. :argue:

So how was everybody elses weekend?

I've had very similar instances happen to me over the years with cops. Most of them get their jollies harrassing guys like us for some reason. Just try to forget about it man...

yea im trying, but 350 bucks man. thats pretty steep. Idk what the standard fees are, but around here ive heard of 25-75 depending on the offence. Ive had the tints on for about a year and only got hassed once and had to pay 75. When the cop said 350 i almost choked.

You were about 5 minutes from my house if you took i94 up. where did you stay? We went to chula vista for my bday and rented a condo. We got RIPPED at the bar inside of the waterpark then went on all the slides. best time ever! Dells is always a good ass time.

indeed. We rented a four bedroom house at a place called springbrook about 5 mins from the main strip. good price, awesome place, cant go wrong. And we took 90 all the way up...

that cop needs to be removed.

yea I drive on I94 when I go back to school its cops galore up there once you cross the boarder never any in IL =)

aint that the truth. anytime i go up there its a pain in the ASS. been up there 2-3 times since i got the mustang and its been trouble all except the time we saw motley crue/aerosmith. granted being in a yellow stang doesnt help, but youd think id blend in with all the cheese :salook:

You FIBS stick out like a sore thumb, the way you drive. Thats why they get you. Ive seen you guys make the dumbest decisions ive ever seen while driving.

yea we are pretty crazy drivers in IL but thats because we have to be aggressive especially when traveling around Chicago lol I always laughed once you cross the boarder from WI to IL the speed limit goes down but everyone goes faster than in WI

Thats weird, I find it cops don't seem to care about me even thought countless times I've been going down a road going about 70+ in a 30 mph zone in third gear(very loud) and passing a cop with the radar gun. Of course I don't speed all the time its just some times you have to have those bursts. ;)

Every time i'm speeding I pass a cop and I freak out and go oh shit i'm done for.. and they just don't seem to ever pull me over. I've never been pulled over in my mustang.

I have illegal tints and a cat back exhaust.

Funny thing is when my car went into the shop I had a rental hyundai and I got pulled over in that within the first week of using it. haha

same here man, i actually get pulled over more in my corolla than i do in my stang with the streetracer plate...weird

I always thought it was about my location because they all know me from the restaurant I work at.. but maybe its not. :kekekegay: Its good honestly.. when you get pulled over and its local you just say you were coming from your job(and say the name of the restaurant) if they go there they will go easy on you because they don't want you to **** with their food. lool

wish it was like that for me lol:argue: I can drive about 25 over with my honda and no one gives me shit. With the mustang, the second I'm one over they are all over my ass. It comes with the territory of owning a mustang that's louder than 98 percent of cars on the road. Everyother time I have gotten pulled over, the cops actually been pretty cool and we end up talking about cars for a good 10-15 mins. :shakeno:

aint it the truth man. my buddy just passed through here on his way from PA to MN. he was complaining because he was almost gettin run off the road doing 80 in the right lane on the highway :tongueout:
