Hardest part is going to the gym for the first time in a while.Cause you know you'll be hurting the next day.In it sucks to be that sore.

I wrestled and kickboxed until i hurt my back when I was 16.

Wrestled 11 years, kickboxed 7..

Once I hit 13 I had to condition... first month or so drained me, badly. Eating, weighing, working out, eating a little more, weighing, more working out. Ect

Best thing I can recommend is stay far far away from the energy drinks and sodas. Gatorade, water, creatine.

You might go through caffiene withdrawls, but gatorad eand creatine will pump much more energy into you for longer.

Some years I'd have to cut off about 10 lbs in 5-6 days which put me close to dehydration, I live by gatorade nowdays.

I can attest to that, I had gone back to the GYM last night after not being there in the passed couple of months with the summer vacations and chaos of it all...and I am feeling it today in my shoulders.

yeah, i know. but running is terrible, not to mention trying to motivate yourself to do it alone

Yeah, i just graduated, so my high school hockey career is over. I don't have to condition, and train this summer. I've just been working, so i dunno which is worse. haha.

I'm working 12 hrs all this week to cover for 1st shift, and my shift. Concrete jungle on the factory floor. 8 hours of running the floor aint too bad, but today I had 2 major mold changeovers and my back is killing me now. Plus I may have to pull 12 hours on Sat. That will be 72 hours for me this week. I might need 2 days to rest my back. Do I need to be in top shape for this? Yes. Am I in top shape for this? NO. I should be but, hell I'm 47 yrs old. I hurt all over most of the time. Wish I had time to exercise. Not including lifting 12 ounce weights when I'm off work.. LOL.. But all that factory work keeps me at 176 lbs. Plus it's been 100+ degrees every day this week so far.. Ok when is break time again??
