I recently installed a black and white checked pattern on my garage floor , "vinyl tile" the 1 x 1 squares, I layed it on the floor around the car but didnt lay it underneath , I was told that the heat from the cats may melt it , before I go and purchase a 300 buck mat , has any one ever done this before ?
I would rather stick with the the black and white vinyl pattern I used instead of using a mat ! |

Pics of it would be nice. Myself, I'd like to try that "U-Coat-it" stuff. Im just worried that I won't prep the floor right and end up doing it over.
