keep or trade???

I have a 1997 mustang gt triple black convertible w/ 96K on the clock. I havn't done any modification to it yet, except for some 99 cobra rims, and a aftermarket HU, but i have the original mach 460 i can put back in. My question is i really like my car, but i kinda miss my manuel stang.. I have grown to like auto for some points, but still like manuel better. So my question is should i keep this one, modd it a little like i want to tint, lower, full exhuast, and SFC. I wanted to know if i should keep this one, save some money and trade it for another 96-04 gt (or cobra/saleen/roush if i can get lucky) convertible thats manuel... and if i do try to sell it how much, i can get some pictures if needed

Thanks

Sell it and get an 01 Cobra or Mach 1 if you can afford it.

the afford part is kinda the problem, thats why im more looking at a gt, waht would be a good place to look, I'm not really big on ebay, dealers always give me crappy prices, and i have been checking the locals and nothing, also the price, i was thinking somewhere around the $7,500 and i also have a 78 monte carlo i'm trying to sell at around $2000-2500 soo that bring me to the price range of $9,000-$10,000 if i can sell them for that

i think this is where patience will come in. if you decide on selling, first you have to sell one of the cars, or both if you have some way of getting around. then you have to just keep looking and wait for the right deal to come

yeah, ok now do any of yall have good idea of how to sell my monte carlo. like i have tried the newspaper, and nothing, i have tried parking it at my church by the main street, nothing... i just can't get rid of the car!!

craigslist.

To sell a monte carlo you have to pimp it in a ghetto neighborhood as thats who will be looking for that car, would help if you put 2 15s with some 26" dubs lol. The mustang sounds high, you should try to get it back to stock and make money out of the parts you take off. Sn95 dont fetch much unless its a cobra as our motors are weak.

well one of ym friends already told me taht he is pretty sure he would buy it if i were to sell it for $7,500 and i really don't feel like getting shot trying to sell my car, soo no driving to the gheto for me.. and i have spent enough money of it, soo no extra subs or dubs...

venom 07-05-2007 02:21 PM

If he wants to give you 7500 take it as its a really good price.

SxyXc 07-05-2007 02:40 PM

the reason that is, is becuase its the fasted car he has driven, its even faster than his BELOVED built 72 nova. and i have proven that too him from a little 60 to 85 on the highway... he doesn't know the newer ones are faster...

v6'stang 07-05-2007 06:03 PM

lol, just make sure he doesn't find that out. like someone said above, craigslist is a good place to sell it. might look on there for the mustang ur lookin' for also. then there's autotrader, but i think ya gotta pay for that. good luck!

SxyXc 07-05-2007 09:18 PM

autotrader, $60 for unlimited time 6-10 picuters a disctiption, and you e-mail adress. cars.com $55 for 90 days free carfax, money back if not sold, 12 pictures, discription and e-mail. (thous might be backwards) local paper $60 7days no pictures small discription (only got 3 calls.) e-bay, not too teriable sure if anyone can tell me that would be nice. craigslist free... i really don't feel like spending money on the car soo the craiglist idea sound really good to me...
