Your typical girl thread...
 

Welp, I haven't seen in one a while so I thought I would post my dilemma and see what you guys say.

so here we go, my senior year of highschool which was last year I started talking to this girl and we talked for a while. Things started to get serious and i flubbed it up one day but we still remained friends and she got back with her ex over summer.

so now to the current time. about 3 or 4 weeks ago she called me and told me she had broken up with him and we have been talking since. She knows how i feel about her but she says she doesn't want a relationship. She had told me she likes me but she just doesn't want a relationship like stated directly above. She says she loves talking me and she would rather talk to me rather than anyone else.

Now my question to you guys is what should I do? Should I keep myself close with her so I'll be there when she is ready or what? We've talked about it alot and it always ends the same way. This has always been the girl I wished I had and I feel as though I shouldn't screw it up this time.

And of course she calls me while I'm typing this out....

OH yeah just thought I would throw this in, you guys might find a little humor in it. The reason i messed it up last year is because I was supposed to go the track one friday but the forecast was bad so I mad plans with her to go to a school play but when friday rolled around it was beautiful and I told her I had to go the track because I was the one that had organized it with all my friends and I would feel bad for not going. This was back when I had the mustang...

She broke up with you over that? There had to be more to the story, if not shes nuts.

But if you like her then keep talking to her, at the very least you could get a shot to nail her again.

we were never dating, i just messed up my chances with her and me ever getting into a relationship.

once you are in the "just friends" mode...its very hard to push beyond that...with most girls round my area, i find that they either like boinking you or they like talking to you... i can play the long haired brooding rebel like nobody else :beerbang: lol...my advice... my advice? next time you see her...be moody...be quiet...get up and punch the wall a few times...tell her about your boy that got shot by a coupla gangbangers and how you want payback but you just needed her to be a friend and just be around for you...ask for a hug....if there is anything at all between you guys then ... :Woot:

what? so you are suggesting for him to lie to her about one of his friends being shot? no lasting relationship will benefit from being started with a lie. Im gonna assume you are joking...most women would find any type of violence, like punching the wall, to be a turn off and they might even be scared by it.

but anyways, keep her on standby mode till ya figure out what she wants, if she wants to just be friends, let it be. my cousin was goin' thru bout the same thing, wasted 2 yrs of his life pursuing it. now they hardly ever talk. but i suppose every situation is different...so have at it!

Start being an asshole to her. Seriously, not so bad that she'll never want to talk to you again, but enough that she knows your not gonna follow her around with your nose in her ass. Slowly start to act less intrested in her, but dont quit talkin to her. Women hate it when they arent the center of a guys attention, even if they dont want to date him.

BTW, you didnt really do anything that bad in the first place. If she is never going to get over you hangin out with your friends over her, then you would have a relationship full of problems with this chic.

Why didnt you tell her.... "Hey I organized this big car thing, it was supposed to be rained out but now its back on. Id really like it if you'd go with me and I promise I'll make it up to you. "

Nice guys finish last.... and trust me your college years will go by WAY too fast to concentrate on one girl.

I'm definitely not up her ass at all. I have times when I ignore her and I know she hates it. I'm not really stressing out over this whole thing but I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say and see if maybe you guys bring up anything I haven't already thought of.

The girl I'm with right now..had gotten out of a relationship..well..she got dumped.. when I first met her she just wanted to talk..

So I was like "whatever, I'll be a nice guy and just talk..see where it goes"

Talked to her for about a month or so and then we started dating..

You can't read deep into it.. because you can't really know exactly how its going to turn out.

Theres two types of typical girls though..

One will say they just want to talk..but they are basically testing to see if you're an asshole or not..and then will end up dating you..

The other is basically..shes a bitch and wants to keep you around as her little play toy.. but never puts out.

i've honestly never had a female friend i didnt screw so i guess we cant relate all that well...then again...i'm not a nice guy and i have nanny cams all over my home.....lol...maybe they dont stay with me very long...once they find out i really wont change its done...but at least i have yet to wonder what screwin a particular girl is like

then theres the most common type...the third type...the one who just wants to have fun and if you can keep a secret she can keep a secret...the type that just wants to get off with no strings attached...girls aint all that different from guys

Work the ignore thing for a while, chicks love it, so I hear. Dont get too close, cause youll be the "friend" but dont let her get too far away.

I still think when people are having a girl issue we need to see pics. Maybe this chick isn't worth going after. We need pics then we can see if our help is worth it or not.

I agree with what Ooohbad guy said. Be a slight ass. Just like he said wemen hate it when they are not the center of attention! Also agree on the pic thing too! :boink:

Dont be so available and date other girls. When you meet someone tell her about it but not in a sense to make her think you want to make her jealous. You have to get her to think that she might loose her chance to date you. If she wants something more it will come out if not then it wasnt meant to be.

Gosh, arrogant boys don't get very far at all in my book. But then again? I like boys who can make me laugh.. mayeb they're right about that friend thing though, thats what happened with mark. Now, its like hes my brother, but thats cos I'm reciprocating the same i get from him. He treats me like a sister, and thats all there is to it. If you like the girl, its worth a shot.
