eh...
I would be willing to bet that a lot of the guys they send into the military to learn military tactics that end up staying in the military.
the military has a great reputation for straightening people out and it is well deserved.
In fact, i have a hard time believing any bonafide hard core gangbanger would last very long in the military. Too much rules and structure, they would **** up and get kicked out.
Graffitti. Ohhh.. whatever. people put that stuff up cause they think it is cool. doesent meant they are in a gang.
kadena AB highschoolers? myspace? gangsters? dont make me laugh.
garbage if you ask me.
a LOT of people in the military come from urban areas. doesent make them gangsters. A LOT of junior military enlistees claim to be from somewhere they arent, claim to be affiliated with gangs, they claim a lot of **** just to sound cool an get street cred.
i would easily put a years wage that less than 5% of the people in the military who claim to have gang roots are actually legit.
think about it. kids joining the military, they had a ho-hum life wherever they wwere from, can EASILY claim to be something they arent to a bunch of people who they have never met, in order to get street cred and to make friends.
i saw that **** ALL THE TIME when i was in the military. just a bunch of scared kids trying to be something they arent. after all, they are in the military, they all want to be tough.
problem is the people doing the investigation take things at face value. if he says he was in a gang, he must have been in a gang right?
OSI is a ****ing joke.
