Default Vortech-should I buy?

I found a very slightly used vortech V2 S-trim supercharger on ebay. It's just the headunit and the guy would probably let it go for $500. I went through the thread in power adders about piecing everything together to keep costs down. Do you think I should jump on this deal. Good?Bad? I think if I had the actual head unit, it would make it easier to piece the other stuff together since it would only be like $200 here and there. What would you guys do if you were interested in buying a supercharger?

who you callin buck-o. Are those some fightin words? haha.I love the feel of centri superchargers and turbochargers. That nice feel of being sucked into your seat. Plus the roots cost sucks, and I can't stand that damn wining sound.

I'm just wondering if there is anything bad about piecing together a system. everything will pretty much be brand new and it seems easier than actually saving the whole amount which I suck at saving money.

I was thinking about bringing it up to her. I told her once she got her ring then I am doing car stuff. It's not like i'm dropping $1500 all at once. I'm lucky cause her dad is paying for the wedding. My side is paying for the stuff we are suppose to pay for like the honeymoon, rehearsal dinner and that ****.

It's damn tempting.

well I'm bidding on it right now, so we'll see how it goes. I could have bought it off the guy for $500 last night, but I am currently the highest bidder with $305. Lets see if I can get this thing fo this cheap.
