WTF is wrong with this country..

I got a BIG ole rant for anyone in this country legal or illegal.. I don't want to criticize any one group about this so bear with me please.

My 15 year old son told me tonight he doesn't have school on Friday. I look at the calender, school is in session as usual. I said BS you got school. Nope he told me. Why I asked? Because some nut has threatened to shoot up the school on Friday.. I know we all have been thru the old bomb threats that used to be popular with certain ner do wells and such but, Gadam you can't be sure if some misguided student is really gonna do it.. Well my wife is letting him stay home. I can't say I don't disagree with it..

We got an official call from the principle of his HS that said they have investigated it and they have done all they can to insure their safety.. Please come to school.

Well I can't guarantee my son will be safe so he stays home.. No doubt it's a copycat thing but my son and everyone else his age all over America are gonna suffer cause of this. Of course it's not gonna happen, BUT it might..

WTF is gonna take to rid us from the senseless assualts on our childrens education.. They are the next generation of our country's leaders..

God help our kids when they grow up without a basic HS education..

We need a RANT section on these forums too. (while I'm Ranting) DAMMIT..

Yep. he's happy cause gets a 3 day weekend. And even laughed cause of the situation. Kinda added to my rantingness.. I told him there aren't very many people who get paid to play X-box 360..

When parents became to scared to physically punish their children is when this all started. I grew up getting cracked w/whatever my mom could get her hands on and that's the way Wade Jr. is gonna get it as well.

Violent games on xbox, rap music, vilent movies,,etc,,,,is part the blame for societies ill's. Parents: "spare the rod, spoil the child." This is part of the problem,

I would agree that violent movies, game, etc. in the hands of a messed up kid can contribute to the problem, but they dont mess up a good kid. I've been playing video games, watching R movies for as long as I could remember. It's all about how you were raised and the enviroment you grew up in. I'm 25 getting married next year and I still play games where I'm chainsawing someone in half. I'm perfectly happy and normal. Then again, I was raised in a good home, was taught respect, and if I misbehaved, then I got spanked by my mom and learned my lesson.

Stockton is the first one on that list and just last night on the news the cops stopped two kids with guns before they got on campus. The cops stopped them because they were supposed to be in school, not outside of campus....anyway, they had guns and pictures of two kids they were going to kill in class. I think this was gang related though. crazy stuff

Easter Mass in a Catholic church sucks by the way. God was never in school. Kids being forced to be quiet for 20 seconds every morning is not God in the classroom. It's 20 seconds of quiet which I suppose keeps the teachers from busting o-rings but does little to glorify conversion disorder... er I mean god.

God has exactly two things to do with school shootings: jack and shiit. Jack left.

EDIT: For those self important zealots out there, think of the massive blood-letting that would follow formal adoption of any religion in school or government. We're fighting theocracies all over the globe cuz they tend to be the uber nutcase bible thumper types that think their way to pray is the "right" way and your way is bad for society, so they'll go ahead and tell you and your kids when and where and how to pray and to whom. Those same nut jobs are the ones with all the political power and money (they steal from god-fearin' folks in one way or another). All religion has ever gotten us is war, disease, corruption, war, war, war, war, war, corruption, war, and war. Kill God and save mankind.

They say "its not right to dicipline children that way" but then they wonder what the hell is wrong with so many kids getting in trouble in school with guns, gangs and drugs these days. Not only my MOM whipped the hell out of me, aunts, uncles, damn near any "grown up" that caught me F-ing up tore into my ass LOL...... And after ALL those whippings I received, I say I am a better man because of em!
