Just a little install tip...

Make sure you have a flat 7mm wrench.

Also, the instructions show you how to remove the outer grill (honeycomb) and then it tells you to remove the inner grill.

Well, i dont know about yours, but my 04GT diddnt have an "inner grill" so i installed it without the provided inner grill and it diddnt look quite right. Then it dawned on me that maybe the supplied inner grill still goes in and it does.

not sure what they meant about removing the factor inner grill, but unless mine was a factory screwup, the 04's dont have inner grills.

When my wheels were delivered I was waiting on the porch and helped the UPS guy unload them :)

oh...the inner grill is the 3rd peice to the kit. you get the piece that uses 3m tape on the underside and the pony and the last peice is the inner grill. my 04 did have that peice in it stock, unlike stated above! just a little info...

They all should have an inner grill. But the one included is the same one that comes stock on a cobra. It's ment to be exposed and has a nicer finish on it then the GT inner grill. My roomate just got his on yesterday, looks amazing

ahh.. who doesn't love when santa comes to drop of gifts. I knew that santa was still alive, he just drives a UPS truck instead of a sleigh. But I am OK with that!!

yeah i know they all should...i was referring to slappy's post up above and he said his 04 didnt' have one. i'm not sure he actually knew that was the inner grill.

it does look pretty slick! i love mine and can't wait to put the chin spoiler on...i'll be doing that thursday!

i think that what he meant was... that the instructions said to remove the inner grill... but there is no inner grill... i had the same problem...

then i put the inner grill they sent me and it fit like i never had an inner grill...

ok im confused now... but the install was cake :dontknow:
