any of the Norcal folks gonna participate? Particularly r3d or jjtgiants? It sounds like it would be a fun thing to do even though it's not cruising the coolest parts of the bay. Its in May and I will have to find the full details. It is only mustangs. It would be cool to start a mini cruise to the meeting spot.

I've heard about this, but never seen any details. So what parts of the bay do they cruise around? It would be pretty cool to all meet up though

I don't think the full details are set yet, but its sometime around May 12th. I think the meeting spot will be in Fremont and then they will be cruising over the Dumbarton bridge and from there I have no idea. I think the cruise itself is around an hour or so long. When more info. comes out I'll keep this thread updated.

dumbarton is only 1ft off the water... san mateo is the tall one.
I'm going for sure. Blk and jjt if you guys want, we can meet at my place and cruise out there together. There's a few others in my area that'll probably meet up with us too. |

im sure im closer to blk and jjt than you are. prolly be better to meet up at a fast food joint near fremont.
i thought san mateo bridge was dumbarton bridge? the only bridges i frequented was richmond, golden gate, and bay bridge. |

no... you're not. I live 6 miles from blk and 8 from jjt... we're all in the dublin-pleasanton-livermore area. So... yeah, we 3 can meet at my place or stoneridge mall (probably the best of the 3 plans).
Fremont is 17 miles from my house, 12 from blk's and 14-15 from jjt's (estimates on theirs). San Mateo bridge runs from Mid-Hayward to of all things... San Mateo. Dumbarton goes from Union City/Newark to Palo Alto. You'll be ok... it's a cruise, not a walk. And if you fall off the bridge I'll be sure to laugh at your misfortune and call the coast guard to come pick up the body. |

I'm actually a lot closer than 6 miles r3d. Just go down Stanley and turn left where that McDonalds and gas station is on the corner and I'm just a few streets away. But yeah, I'm down for going and will meet up wherever, r3ds place, the mall, wherever.

you gotta get out of Korea and come back and enjoy the bay. anyways, when the event gets closer we can discuss a meeting point and time so we can all cruise down together. I think jjtgiants is in Mountain House? Is that right on the otherside of the Altamont?

Yeah whenever I drive out that way I see the sign for Mountain House Parkway or whatever and I see nothing around, haha. It's like where the hell is this place. Me and my lady have thought about getting a house in Brentwood, but then its like screw that, the drive sucks and I don't know if I could stand living out there. I guess for now I'll continue to rent a townhouse until the time being. I just want a damn garage.

Yeah, there isn't much around there, but next time your out that way check it out. It's a really nice development, but it's really new so there isn't a lot around, but in a few years it will look much different. They built two new schools and some office buildings within the development and the san joaquin delta college will go right there as well....they are trying to make it a nice suburb of Tracy. I hear ya on the garage dude.....I'll PM you. |

Just wanted to see who was still possibly on board for this? May 12th is soon approaching. I'm still pretty sure I will be going.

Here is what I found....The route seems a little weak, but what do I know. ha ha ha "We are tentatively going to be starting on Dumbarton Circle in Fremont. This is the exit right before the toll plaza. We'll be going across the DumbartonBridge Westbound North on 101 Across San Mateo Bridge East bound Then contiue on 92 into Hayward and then left onto Mission Blvd. There about 60 eateries there." |

cafords.com ... there should be a thread there. I'll probably meet y'all at stoneridge mall in the JC Penny parking lot and then we can all cruise there. I'm betting we start at ANAS and do the bay bridge to dumbarton, to san jose run again. I |
