First real race today!
 

Raced another mustang GT today. I think it was a fox body, but can't be sure. He had a decal that said GT 350, or somethinng like that. Anyway, we were going from one lane to two, he was behind me, and I could hear him rev his engine up. So after he gives a pass by a good 10 MPH, I floor it and almost catch him, except I've got an AT, and it was already in a high gear, so I lost a good amount of torque. I catch him up till 60, when he's about a 1/4 of a carlength away. I know his g/f, and shes always saying that all he works on is his car. Mine's bone stock, auto. Do yall think he had some extra bolton stuff, or is a foxbody just that good?

It probably was a foxbody. That has been the mustang platform for somethin like 20 years, the 05 is the first to break away from that.

So im assuming yer talking about the 5.0 body style that he has? They are pretty quick, but stock vs stock, i'd put my money in a 99+ GT

Yeah, he probably had some bolt on's.
