Quick question about an SCT XCal2 - Resetting

Well, I listed my XCal2 for sale in the classifieds.

In order for others to use it, can I or the potential buyer clear the "tunes" I have on my Xcal2? or can only the shop where I had the car tuned do this?

Also, in order to clear the "tunes", do I HAVE to return my car to stock?

Reason is, one of my tunes is 100% stock EXCEPT that I have the bank1/2 turned off so I don't get an CEL for my exhaust setup. When I go to return to stock, the CEL always pops on because the prelim cats are gone and basically the Hi-flo cats are too hi-flo.

So, can I keep my car on this tune with only the bank1/2 turned off and then delete all the tunes on the XCal so it has all 3 tunes open?

Nope. You will have to return your car to stock.

So there is no way possible to "unlock" the XCal2 and keep that tune in my car? Darn.

Is it possible to delete the two other tunes, but keep the one I mentioned on the XCal? So basically, I'd have to sell the XCal with only two open slots for tunes and have my old one on there.

The XCAL2 is LOCKED to your computer code unless your car has been returned to stock tune.
