How many people really buy these?
I'm not knocking the targa top system in anyway. I mean you like what you like...and don't let anybody tell you different. I'm not a fan..but do what you like. What i want to know is..does anybody really buy these from mustang tuning? i mean, i've seriously only seen one mustang with this in my whole life. Do they really sell?

They look kinda cool but I think it would sacrifice too much stiffness in the chassis!

It also looks like it would have to be done by a pro. Not someting the average person can do at home.

Definately not a driveway job |
And would it lower the value of the car????????
|
Please have ordered them. I think we have sold a small handful, 5 or 6. Would sell many more if they were shipping quicker. They take about 2 months to make and ship from our supplier.
On a mustang, you probably wouldn't be hurting the value of the car. It depends though, some buyers will be detered from buying the car, others it may be advantageous. |
i've seen one mustang with it back home. it looks good, but i wouldnt do it.

Yup, just a sweaty grip on your saw and your screwed. Noway I'd do it, or even let a pro do it.

If i had the cash to buy one and have it installed, you bet yer ass i would get one.
i just wish mustangs came with T-tops. LOL I dunno how many of you have ever been in a car that rolled, but it aint a fun experience. The time i rolled i was sitting shotgun in a subaru and a white saturn blew the red light and broadsided us. We rolled 2 1'2 times and skidded about 30 feet on the roof of the car. After that, the idea of skidding upside down in a vert is damn freaky. Nice flat head, cleanly shaved off just above the eyebrows. :tard: Targo/T-tops let you get the fresh clean open air and sunlight, yet you dont have to worry so much about scraping yer brain across the pavement. |
I think its a little too much in price than most people are willing to pay. If you think about it, its about 2 grand, all said and done. Most people that do it are people who probably have a show-quality mustang.

I think they look cool, but as most said just cutting into a near new mustang just makes me cringe. I would rather spend the extra and buy a convertible from the beginning.
