Default Laguna Beach

Well........Laguna Beach is pretty pricey.......I doubt there is a house there for under a million dollars. I actually live in Orange County, and work in Los Angeles....yes I drive way too far for work LOL. So from Laguna Beach down to San Diego is pretty much the Beverly Hills of Orange County..........It's a gorgeous place to even just drive by! Everyone should visit LA at least once...........

I wasn't basing that on the stupid tv show....I've actually been there several times and have some friends that live there so that's what I was basing it on. Yeah not every single person in Laguna Beach is rich, but A LOT of them are. You should go see it with your own eyes, it's probably one of the most beautiful places in California....in my opinion anyway.

can't blame yyou man. Arizona is nice in the winter time...although it's been pretty chilly this winter....but the summers are insane. 110 in the shade doesn't do anything for me. I grew up in the MW and it was good but i'd never go back. So. Cal is the place for me. I'm going to move to LA in the next 2 years. can't wait.

Oh and those houses in Laguna Niguel aren't priced that bad. But they are small as hell!!!!!

I've been doing some research of housing around Phoenix area. For at least a 3 bed, 2 bath and at least 2,500 sq ft. will cost a solid $400,000.

I've found a few that were very nice that were 2/3 beds, 2 baths for under $300,000, but they all were very small... 1,600 sq. ft. or smaller.

I'm going to start researching Georgia. Anyone know of anything about Marietta, GA? It's a few miles NW of Atlanta.

$400k for a 2,500 sq ft house is a damn good deal. I paid $400k for my townhouse that is 1,300 sq ft. Arizona is a hot market right now!

I'm used to seeing 2000+ sq ft. houses for $250,000 or less in my area.

ha ha...don't feel bad at all man. The AVERAGE price of a home where
r3dn3ck and I live is around $600k....and that doesn't get you anything built in the last 20 years probably. I had to go 20 miles east of where we live in order to get a townhome for that price, but it's brand new and I have a garage so I'm happy. Not happy when I have to make a payment every month, but oh well.

In order to get decent size house for a reasonable price around here, you have to live in a less than desirable area. Thats california for ya, but I still wouldn't move out of this state.

Exactly dude....The only other state I would consider moving to is Arizona. I like to be able to drive my stang all year without having to worry about snow.

I think it really depends whether you grow up as an East coat or a west coast guy. I can't really see myself living on the west coast since I've been somewhat been around the East coast a lot more than the West coast.

I live in O.C. I bought my condo in 2004, it's in a desireable area, it's just over 1200 sq.ft. single story, I paid 310,000.00 and today it's 440,000.00, I just had it apprasied. I was surprised to see in Laguna a place for in the five hundred's! Actually shocked! The houses on my street, built in the 70's are selling for between 650,000. and over a million, and they are pretty small......it's nice to hear about where other people live

I love Atlanta. I moved down here from Detroit and Cleveland and don't regret it at all. Summers are hot as hell, but it has been in the 60s and 70s this past week for the high. That is not too bad for it being winter. I'm used to being drowned in snow this time of year. The only thing I hate in ATL is the ridiculous traffic and it seems like no one speaks english here compared to Detroit.

If I didn't end up living in D.C. I'd either wana live in South Florida, or maybe somewhere in So Cal, never been but it seems real nice. South Florida is where it's at though, seriously, Most beautiful women, hispanic population, great weather, what else do you need? And to live off the water...
