My Auto Detailing Business

1 Attachment(s)
Well I'm getting a lot of the pieces put together right now. For those who don't know, I'm starting a little side gig in auto detailing starting spring. I've been putting together quite a few spreadsheets on product costs, supplies, packaging prices, individual application prices, etc. etc.

I've had a few people help me out and Slither is helping me with a logo.

Name: Hart's Auto Detailing

Slogan: Not sure, if I have any at all.

Slither threw the slogan in on the logo to help fill it in and give me an idea of what a slogan would look like. This is a very rough sketch of a logo and could greatly change from this.

We put a heart in the logo because of the idea that people relate a heart with love/care which would transfer to the business purpose.

So yes or no on a heart in the logo? I can definately try to hide it a little more or not make it the main part.

Anyone have any ideas for a nice logo or slogan???

make it less of a cartoon try and get like a nice highclass car on there and do away with the heart looks good just not from a professional standpoint

I thinking of more of a simple oval with Hart's Auto Detailing on 3 lines. Maybe do something cool with the outline of the oval or prolong the lines or something.

good luck with it. i hope it goes well for you.

Well.. it is kinda cool. The slogan and everything. It does look cartoonish..but who says you can't sell it?

You could go for like..a nice exotic car or something.. and make it look really upscale.. but the choice is yours..both would be great.

Can't wait to hear about how well it goes man

if he uses a real car in his logo..then he will run into problems w/ the company that makes the car

Well, me and another member, WNRacing has helped me tremendously.

We've come up with this design, logo a week ago. I'm really excited about it and is exactly what I wanted. Simple, but modern, and catches the eye.

Only thing I want to do is change the word "detail" to "detailing"

so what you think?

yes i know for sure ford will come after you for useing the ford logo if you are not a dealer but i am not sure about (that)car but check into it before spending a lot of money for your sign.

that looks sweet man...good luck with the business...a friend of mine does it during the summer and make mad money!

and why would ford come after him...he is a really small business i am not sure if they will come after or not

That looks really nice. I doubt Ford is going to "come after you" unless you take this thing to a National stage or at least advertise in National rags.

You might want to have a back up logo just in case, but if it were me, I'd roll with it. Looks nice.

That's exactly the response I was hoping for with the mustang silhouette.

I plan on making a nice website for customer's to use as reference and package prices, also many flyers, business cards, and maybe some decal vinyl stickers for car windows. All of which would have this logo on it, so, should I keep the mustang or alter it to make it more of a generic car?

Tire Centers are good places to leave your brochures and business cards. There's always a long wait at the ones here. I found a detailer that way when I first moved here. The local welcome service is another good place to slip in a coupon. :) When people move to a new area, it's always a hassle finding where to go and who to call for everything.
