Was I Pwned?

I don't think I got beat too bad. Half a car length. Is that being killed?

Stopped at the light before my work entrance. left turn, then a long straight.
bout 1/8 mile before the road i turn on. sitting beside a little gold car with black rims. Didn't really notice what it was, I thought it was a honda or something. green light and we both take off. we both got on the straight road and I give it the gas, then I hear the turbo kicking in.. I nailed 2nd and here it comes along side of me, I snagged a big ole 3rd gear chirp and I see it now nosing in front of me. I'm nailing my stang as hard as I can but gaadam SRT was pulling on me badly. I think I stayed with it till I had to let off and turn for work. Geez that little car was screaming. I was just about to hit 4th gear when I let off and the srt was still gettin it. I maybe could have stayed a half car length behind but we were getting up into the high miles per hour range and I don;t need a ticket for racing.. LOL . Damn lil neon. At least it wasn't a honda..

so was that a kill or just a good ole romp through 3 gears.. ?

Yeah I heard his turbo and thought Faaack. I'm toast but, I held it and I think maybe I could have done better from a dead stop, straight line all out,

I'll see him again. Hey he gets a thumbs up in my book. That little car was romping. But I'm gonna get some goodies real soon/... LOL

SRT-4's aren't too quick until they get into the boost. I wouldn't call that 'pwned' pwning someone means you beat the hell out of em'! Plus, you can't be too upset about that, it was domestic, not rice!

Had one pull up on me at a light the other day and we lazily took off, I thought hey maybe ill have some fun (thinking it was just a neon) I played around a bit took off then let off and he did the same.. Next thing I know is I hear turbo whine and I said "No thanks!" lmao

Unless your on the highway w/ a modded one, haha. Long story short, stage 3 SRT vs. me at 60 miles per hour, wasn't pretty. I wasn't expecting to be as murdered as I really was.

yeah I'm thinking at least some 373's. Not real sure bout going higher than that, Even though I do have a 5th gear that is rarely used.. Any thoughts on that??

4.10s will put 5th gear into good use....i dont even use it for cruising on the bypass...i cruise at 65-70 and 5th gear puts the rpms too low for comfort

No shame in losing to an SRT-4. They are pretty quick cars in stock form and once they start modding they can be super tough to beat....especially from a roll. I read somewhere that the fastest documented stock 04-05 SRT-4 1/4 mile time was 13.6. That's pretty quick. Plus I think they only weight around 2,900lbs.
