Mustang Boards - The wierdest, coolest, etc dreams ya ever had...

here's one, it is a cut and copy from another place i posted it.

Well, turns out you do NOT die if you die in your dreams.

Here is the dream. Me and a couple friends were hanging out in a field, somewhere just east of the denver metro area. warm day, tall grass. I look off in the distance and i see what looks like a tube or cylinder falling to earth in the distance. I got this sinking feeling then BOOOOM, this massive explosion, darkens the whole sky with the intensity, we stand there stunned as this mushroom cloud rises in the air and the wave of heat hits, almost feels as if it is traveling through you, we start booking it to a white truck we apparently rode in on. The air seemed to be stale all of the sudden, everything was real quiet, a strange hazy unrealism on an extremly realistic situation. hard to explain, almost as if somone turned down the volume and bleached the color out of everything.

Halfway to the truck, i look over my shoulder and see another missle flying in our direction, it goes overhead strangely silent, flys out and i see it hit eastern denver, a LOT closer to where we were, once again the sky darkens from the brilliance of the explosion, and in the matter of a few seconds there is this rumblling wall of heat going at us at incredible speed, i see it hit the truck and knock it in the air just fractions of a second before it hits us, i feel this brief moment of panic knowing that my life is over, then the wave hit me, and strangely enough there was no real "Pain" but this feeling, i can only descreibe as billions of atoms flying right through me, and heat, when the particals got about half way through everything ended.

Now, when everything ended, i dont mean as if everything blacked out, once everything ended there was an absolute nothing, no conciousness, no drifting, absolutly nothing. As if my conciousness was completely destroyed and nothing existed afterwards.

I diddnt wake up either.... instead i found myself later dreaming of something totally unrelated, this one was real odd, not nearly as substancial as the previous dream, i was in a mall that was closed carrying around an oversized stuffed gorilla trying to find my way out, other people were there too, somehow i met an attractive middle aged woman and we were somehow all of the sudden at her apartment in some skyrise, and i remember grabbing a box of lawn darts.... Ok, now before you all start getting perverted ideas it was in no way a sex dream. it was just as dreams normally are, strange wanderings and odd developments.

Thats when i woke up.

That first dream was one of the most intense dreams i have ever had, normally i dont remember much at all. This one just seems to have burned itself in my memory pretty heavily.

Anyways, i dont believe in premonitions. it was just a vivid dream. But, i DID die in the dream. Sure enough, blasted to atoms, completly and utterly shredded into nothing.

And i diddnt die! :)

So, i can tell you first hand, that if you die in a dream, you do NOT die in real life!!!!

However, i wonder if that is really what it is like to be killed on the outer edge of a nuclear blast.

it was a pretty unnerving dream.
