Guitar Hero is a rythm based game under the brand Red Octane. It was released one year ago november 6th. The new Guitar Hero II comes out this november 7th. I played guitar hero for the first time saturday night and was hooked. I only played 3 or so songs but it was alot of fun, even on easy. Has anyone else played this game? If not you should check it out.
(Its a small Gibson SG)

It is going to be hard to wait the two weeks until the new one comes out, it will have a bunch new songs and features. The controller is the same, but red, but if you had the first one you can just buy the game and use your old controllers.

I am pretty obsesed with guitar hero right now. I can beat all the songs on expert....I cant wait for the second one to come out. I also heard that one for the xbox360 was coming out soon.

Yea, my roommate had it last year. Needless to say, I made fun of it forever, then played, then never stopped playing it. haha, I've never ever played such an addicting game.

guitar hero is killer. first time we played it at best buy there was a crowd of little kids watching me and my buddy playing Iron Man so we cranked up the tv heh. cant wait for the new game

It really is a fun game, and can kill ALOT of time... Can't wait for the second one on 360!

I played guitar hero and it is a badass game, got hooked to it fast and its fun as hell to play with a few buddies when your drunk. Im probably going to end up buying guitar hero II

playing it drunk is the best! they just REALLY need to make wireless controllers for it

lets see, the new controller is not going to be wireless. However, the 360 version doesnt hit shelves till january of 07, whereas the ps2 one comes out on the 7th of november... yeah
the 360 version is said to not have any wireless controllers... but you can already get wireless controllers for the PS2 version that are really nice, flying V shaped and good quality from what Ihave heard...
edit: yeah I havent even played much at ALL but I said once I get my controller I am taking it apart and painting those ****ing buttons black. Honestly I have played 3 songs and not once looked at the frets.
