Alright guys, im plannin on putting the black honeycomb panel on my car and blacking out my tails. Im also thinking about painting my spoiler black, or should i get a cobra spoiler. and if i get a cobra spoiler should i paint it black or yellow. does anyone know if i would have to buy a different trunk lid, or can i just get my holes filled. heres a pic of the back of my car so you can try to imagine what it would look like

The honeycomb, and black spoiler would look good. Just look at the Mach's!

if you get a black out, dont get honeycomb, my buddy makes a black vynl for it, would look much better

yea, go for vinyl IMO. I think it looks better than the honeycomb and its cheap!!!! heres of pics of it on my car.

where did you get that from?

If you get the cobra spoiler then youll have to fill holes. I cant remember exactly, but I think I drilled about 8 new holes to mount the thing.

It can be a little tricky to install, but if its done right there should be no bubbles and it will look just like paint. Cant beat 40 bucks!

You should be able to go to any Tint/Vinyl lettering shop and they should be able to cut a piece for you for like 10 bucks. I've been going to the same guy for years, he did all of the lettering/numbering on my race cars, and he does that kinda stuff for me free now.. Same thing goes for the "MUSTANG, Or COBRA" rear bumper inserts, everything is gouged on the internet as far as vinyl is concerned... :poke:

high quality vinyl is high quality vinyl. It's all the same. The fitment with the vinyl on ebay is perfect, so in terms of quality idk how it could be any different. But if hes selling for 20, then more power to him.

thanks man. im most def going to do the tails and the black between them. now i just need to decide if i want to do the cobra spoiler

im planning on having my hood repainted this december. do you guys think i should just repaint it yellow, or do something else with it.

dang thats a good deal. but the guy who is painting my hood said he would paint the section between tails black for free. hes done alot of work on my neighbors cars and on my parents cars. so do you guys think i should still go the vinyl way or just paint it.

leave the front alone it looks awsome like that.

yeah definately just leave it yellow, your car looks best that way. As for the rear piece, have your friend paint it, especially since it is free, and you don't have to worry about the possibility of bubbles with the vinyl

paint it yellow and have the middle teir painte black...even follow it to the grille delete

and idk, paint the middle of the cowl matte black?

thanks guys. and im thinkin about either leavein the hood yellow, or just painting the top layer of the cowl black. and Fish ill see what it looks like after its painted with the tails just red. then ill decide what to do about the tint

Yeah it was yellow, but I PS'ed it black. Would be a really cool color combo IMHO.
