College Class Thread

I know there has been a thread about starting school back, but what classes is everyone taking?

Mine are:

Managerial Finance
Professional Writing
Marketing Fundamentals
Management Fundamentals

r3dn3ck 08-28-2006 09:42 AM

you might want to add Spelling to your course load.

Professional WRITING... writting isn't even a word.

Seriously though.... I'm one of the types that will be doing your interviews when you graduate and start looking for a real job. We're all jerks, so practice proofreading everything. Spell check isn't enough.

So I held the "t" down a little too long..If you don't have something to say about classes you are taking then shut up. I don't care about proofreading my stuff on the boards.

wow... interweb tough guy puttin the smack down.

You'll learn when you grow up that how you write tells people how smart or not you are. I was being playful before... now I'm just going to tell you to stuff it in your poop tube and laugh at you.

Not being tough..what you said was not even related to my thread so why point out something like that? I didn't take it in a playful way so sorry I took it the wrong way. Ease up...it was one T. :shakeno:

I just found out today that they changed the course requirements for my degree to transfer and you no longer need Business Calc. I WAS PISSED this morning when the teacher told us that.

Are you taking regular calc.?

Uhhh... I know the series inside and out. That is in fact the correct question. How in your opinion (or possibly fact) is it incorrect?

Slith... s'all good.

Nope, i dont know the series at all. I thought you were merely referencing " The Answer" and giving your own (smart assed) question.

r3dn3ck 08-28-2006 11:49 AM

read the books. As you grow to understand the universe you'll come to know that 6x9 does indeed equal 42 unless using bistromathematics, travel scrabble or finite improbablility.

BTW... Wowbagger the Infinitely Prolonged says hi... sorta.

Anyone that wants a copy of the complete 5 book trilogy can download a non-verbatim copy from my server. It's a little out of whack in some places but it's a pretty faithful copy of the HHGG series. http://www.aossguns.com/images/car/54l/HHGG.tgz

Download and use winace (www.winace.com) to extract the archive if you don't have an archiver application that understands gzipped tarballs.

r3dn3ck 08-28-2006 01:39 PM

what does one do for a living with a kinesiology degree? Design seat belts and stuff like that or sports medicine kinda stuff? Kinda curious.

I never got a degree... make TONS of money with only a GED. Took all my college classes after I was in the field for a few years. That's the great part about being a geek for a living. People assume it's hard so they pay you gobs of money to tinker and screw around.

csledd 08-28-2006 03:13 PM

umm, i did everything backwards and took the hard classes first.. so now im finishing my gen ed..

You can use it to go into PT, or do sports medicine. im just doing it to get a degree, and my bro told me it was easy. For being a pilot in the Air Force, they dont care what your degree is, they just look at your grades, your commander ranking, and things along that line. But when i tell people what my major is, they always react with a " what the heck is that"

r3dn3ck 08-29-2006 11:23 AM

well then, you're a helluva smart guy. Before I got tagged 4F that was the way I was headed. Are you looking to go CAC or MAC (fighting or hauling)?
