I love my magnaflows (not magnapacks) on my GT... but I would go with bassani or borla for the cobra... Mac is good but i would put it on my old v6 (and I did, and it sounds amazing) but not right for a cobra

I was waiting for Todd to chime in with that...but you beat him.

Stingers sound nice.

I have a friend with Magnapacks and one with Stingers.. both sound awesome, so whichever you chose it'll be a good decision lol.

Corsa FTW on a Corvette!

Borla catback is the only catback to be had on a cobra.

Now that you stepped up your program, you need to maintain it. Money should not be an issue with ANY mod on a Terminator.
These cars are reserved for the upper echelon of Mustang owners. That is why Badfish doesn't own one. http://www.mcmmotorsports.com/smilies/lookfinger.gif

:stupid:

Even if you have to hold off to save up some more money. Get nothing but the best. Just like you did with the GT. Even the small mods are big gains to a Cobra.

Such as that stupid K&N intake... actually has gains X_X

SpinMedia 08-13-2006 03:55 PM

Yeah wasn't a K&N like a ridiculous 30HP gain? or something like that. You should put the ported blower on it. Very cheap way to gain A LOT of HP.

SpinMedia 08-13-2006 03:56 PM

BTW there is this one site that they send you a ported blower, and then you need to send them yours, and they do it for just like $300 bucks, very greay way to gain a ****load of HP

Actually, he would be better off waiting until he got used to the HP he's got. That way, the WOW factor is retained!

Tellin ya Lance, its the best, and the quality is 10x what it used to be, so dont worry about that.

Lances03SVT 08-14-2006 03:57 AM

Would you go 3 inch or 2.5??

spike_africa 08-14-2006 04:51 AM

most get the regual h-pipe and the 3" catback. Thats just how my car sounds almost. I love it, just mines louder because i have dumps.

madmatt 08-14-2006 05:00 AM

Yea, Id get the 3 inch catback for your supercharged car Lance. Dunno about the H pipe though, 2.5 shouldnt plug it up at all lol.

Lances03SVT 08-14-2006 02:51 PM

I talked to a guy about the 3 inch and he said unless I'm pushing around 600rwhp no need for the 3 inch.

spike_africa 08-14-2006 03:02 PM

with a ported blower, exhaust, pullied and some spray 600 isnt hard to reach :)

:D fixed. Lance, he's probably right for your car right now, dunno if you really need it yet, but if you are planning on more power, why not?

TEXASPAUL 08-14-2006 06:23 PM

stingers....

Lances03SVT 08-14-2006 06:27 PM

I really like the Stinger's but $700 for a Catback is kinda crazy to me.

Lances03SVT 08-14-2006 06:29 PM

For $700 I can get the Mac CB and a Magnaflow Tru X pipe with cat's and have alot better flowing system than just with the Borla CB.Also if I get the Mac I'm going to get the JLT CAI and SS Cobra inserts.
