man that was an assbag of junk i diddnt need to be putting up with. I dont think i have ever in my life been as stressed as i was back then. most of the time that was going on i was in the hospital with my boy before he had his valve replaced.

memories.

once my boy came out ok from that nightmare none of that mattj stuff really mattered much.

on a good note, had a cardiology appointment last week. Since both the leaflets in the mechanical valve started to miraculously work they dont see any reason he should have to re-do the surgery untill he is 7 or 8 years old.

the night before the appointment i was watching "Pop-Sci's Future Of" and they had an episode on immortality, at the very end of it they had a segment about gorwing human body parts in a lab. They showed a human heart valve they grew, sitting there pumping away.

then at the very last minute they brifly discussed a company called "Tenogen" who has created the works first manufacturing plant to grow human replacement parts. Basic stuff right now, but they can make human heart valves, they have over 1000 orders already for various tissues and organs that are genetically matched to the client.

This was all brand new and mostly conjecture when logan was born. With any luck when he has his next surgery they can do away with the mechanical valve and replace it with a DNA matched human valve and he will be 100% fixed. no more blood thinners, no more surgeries!

I'm glad everything is turning out okay with him :) It's nice to hear a happy ending sometimes.

because it was a shit time in my life, my kid almost died, and the guys on here were a good support for me through that time. I dont know if things have changed in the last 4 years, but generally threads go almost any direction. And seeing as how this is my god damn thread, ill do whatever i want with it. ;)

(I literally just joined this old thread to say that this list isnt complete without the 1982 Ford Mustang GT Enduro. 3 were ever made. The first one is a midnight blue and the other two are red. I do too much research.
