well im not sayin its poleproof, lol. but in the past 26yrs my dad has only had 2 civics. the one we have now is 13 yrs old. havent had any maint. work done to it. all we have done is oil changes. same clutch and everything. go find me a mustang thats like that. and good luck with that search.

and it'd be cheaper to buy a new car then a cylinder head for the thing...

and my grandfather drove it for 6 or 7 years... drove it like an old man... it wasn't beat...

So I have concluded... HONDA FTL!

I know of a guy that has over 230,000 on his Accord and still get's about 34mpg and still run's perfect.

Honda's are great cars...I just dont like them. Its the car I would drive if I didnt give a shlit about cars.

Thats because domestics are made to sell quarterly, whereas imports are built for the long haul...

dad had an 89 bronco II. had 280,000 on original motor and trans. water pump went out so he totaled it. car was reliable till the day he junked it.

My dad has been driving an 81 mustang hatch with over 250,000 miles on it, not a single part replaced (Cept some interior things..and A/C doesn't work, but it drives.) Drives it to and from work everyday.
What now mr honda? :D lol
