Got my first ticket.

I was heading home from Wally World goin 35 in a 20 and the po po got me. $69.60. Now for my rant. Our wal-mart is in West Burlington and i live in Burlington. So i have to go through WB and their cops are always dicks about everything. and curfew is 11:30 in WB more :icon_bs: I am almost 100% sure that if it was in Burlington they would have given me a warning because it was my first offense. Havent showed the ticket to my mom yet but i gave it to my dad i dont think he was too mad but, he hasnt shown her either and i dont think he will because we both know she'll flip out. O'well such a great start to my summer:wallbash: :wallbash:

Ive had enough tickets in my life i could make a giant paper mache float out of them for the thanksgiving day parade.

and my insurance is still only 145 a month, on an 04 gt, and that includes my homeowners insurance.

i rule.

Wally World??? I didn't know that was a real place....I only thought it was a joke in those "Vacation" movies with Chevy Chase....hmmm...learn something new everyday.

Anyway, don't worry about the ticket....Can't you go to traffic school so it won't be on your record and your insurance won't go up.....you'll be fine.

Wally World = Wall Mart. I dont think my insurance will go up too much it only costs me about $150 a year for liability.

1st ticket, now go celebrate.

95STANG 06-06-2006 03:46 PM

The thing is im only 16 and ive had my liscense for 3 months. So i might be in alil trouble w/ the DMV nazi's. You have to be violation free for a year or until your 18 before you can get less restrictions because Iowa has the graduated drivers liscense program.

ChrisGT 06-06-2006 04:33 PM

^^^^that sucks, hire a laywer and try to beat it.

Teal_Beast 06-06-2006 04:34 PM

MY roomate got a DUI before he turned 18 in IOWA and he is doing fine.

For that reason i never thought of IOWA being strict heh

Oh I totally agree, but part of the game is knowing when to hire one and when not to waste your money...That's the hard part.

95STANG 06-07-2006 02:01 PM

Went down to the court house and paid it today. My mom still doesn't know about.

I cant believe you said that...you are 100% correct none the less. I call fast cars "giggle machines" when the accelerative g's hit almost anyone will giggle like a 5 year old girl at X-mas who just got her first Barbie doll.
