Cool, looks pro for sure! I never had any probs with my mat. Lucky me I guess...I am having an issue with my sub box sliding all over though.

Looks good man, my trunk mat is mud stained so I might want to do this too. Where did you get the carpeting and what thickness was the plywood you used?

Rejekt 06-05-2006 06:22 AM

Good idea, looks good too.

4.6 Love 06-05-2006 07:59 AM

I got the carpet from wally world...it was a little to small though..so one of these day's i'm gonna re carpet it. And I don't remeber the thickness...i just went to home depot and picked one

CCM 06-05-2006 01:54 PM

Cool man, what section of Wally World was the carpet in? Did it come it a roll or something?

the auto section..and yeah it does come in a roll...but it's too small, theres a line near the bottom (not pictured) wher ei had to staple to connect the second peice. its not noticeable when ur looking in the trunk from a normal distance, but if you get closer in you can see where the carpet ends, and the other begins. thats why i'm gonna look for a bigger peice so i can re upholster it
