MT get together

I just want to throw something out there in the open. Im thinking maybe this summer at some point and time we should set up a place and time that everyone can get together. This gives everyone a chance to meet, show off there cars, and give out advice. I think it would be a blast and great time to make a weekend get together. Its just a thought, so any ideas go ahead and post em.

i think alot of people would be down for it. As previously said, make a road trip out of it. Maybe find a place that has a drag strip near by. Make a weekend trip or 4/5 day thing. I think alot of people would be down. I live in Davenport, IA with a strip about 45 minutes away(Cordova Drag Way) I might even be able to have a few stay here(I live with my parents still, im only 19) so its just a thought that i think many people would be down for it.

I would definitely be down for it, but this site is nationwide, how would we get a time that most active members could all have 4-5 days off? Also...a bigger issue is the meeting place. And what we would do. I'm cool for a road trip, but not like across the usa.everybody should post here where they live if they are down for it. We show all riot at the MT factory for free stuff.

I like the whole idea of posting where we live. That way we could find a spot maybe in the middle. We could have a big car rally and do a little racing, maybe some burnout contest. Stuff like that. Just make a party out of it.

We can do it by region and if its not big enough we can meet at another event. There is a Mustang car show coming up in April in Ft Lauderdale .

Damn...small world...I live in Clarence, Iowa about 45min West of you on highway 30. Anyone wants to meet me, I will be at every NMRA event except Atco, NJ this year. Racing in Mod Motor, #7400

By region would be best then one national a year at least... Im in Arkansas and the only states I would and can travel to would be MO Tenn La MS i would go to fl al ga ky and ok if i had a few more days off.. What about having a main person from every state to represent and organize everything?

im down for going anywhere really. i think going to a big mustang show and having people meet there if possible would be cool. or even a drag way. just something i think would be cool if we could do.

I love San Antonio. I have have family in Canyon Lake and I go there every year.

On another note:

I think the get together idea ia a great idea... but it would have to be regional. Since I live in Baton Rouge, I could make a "SouthEast Event" - as long as it was in reasonable driving time from me (no more than about 7 hours).
