i was washing my car...
 

today and what i saw pissed me off...my front bumper on the driverside got a nice lil gash in it from something that i do not know how it got there, my front plate had rusted and let 3 distinct marks on my front bumper, my rear bumper is spydering, and there is a good 1 inch long by 1 cm wide gash in my rear bumper also....and my side skirts are banged up from people getting in on the passenger side....damn im pissed....

EDIT: as i looked at my driver side door now...my paint looks like it is spydering under the clear somehow.....damnit!!!

my rear bumper is spydered all over...oh well it's white and you can barely see it...still bothers me though 'cause I know its there.

That's not good....

Dont worry too much, its a daily driven car, its BOUND to happen, and the sooner you let stuff like that go, your blood pressure will go down considerably. Sorry about your car, but it really is going to happen eventually, not to mention, fords paint quality is job number 3,465

spydering is when ur paint starts to crack..it makes a spyder web like design (for lack of better terms)

and i agree..i need to get my car repainted cause ford sux at the paint....my driver side door has white w/ grey flakes in it under the clear coat...if i get enuf money, im going to a place called 3D Auto and getting my car repainted the same color...along w/ some other goodies...but painting is still in the distant future

yea you say for paint job suck. When you get it repainted with a daily driver its gonna chip twice as bad and scratch up equally as bad. Factory paint job is baked on aftermarket jobs are not done the same even if they claim they have a baker.

It said you think ford paint job sucks i forgot to put the d. No im not high or drunk we do body work all the time i dont give a **** who paints it. Aftermarket paint jobs are easier to chip i dont mean by just walking and nicking it. I mean you'll notice your front bumper will recieve stone chips alot easier. your bumper behind your tires. It's a fact baked on factory paint jobs are more durable. Now with aftermarket you have your advantages. You can color sand the fresh paint and even out the clear so you have no rough spots(orange peel). You can get basically a mirror like finish.;) I hope that clears a few things up I did not explain it real well that last time and i still havent gone in depth.

oh well i can shoot me for that i was not being mean though u should def do that kit if u plan on rapainting ur car it look super hawttt
