I'm not sure.....maybe a civic. I want to get a civic hybrid for a daily driver. Sometimes I drive for work in one and the damn thing gets 33 mpg! That's twice as good as my car! ha ha ha

I think mazda 3s are really nice. If it's anything like my girlfriends mazda 6 it is very nice quality and does great on gas. My friend's mom has a 5-speed 3 and he loves to drive it.

i'd get a lancer. Just becuase you can find an 04 for about 10k and they get over 30 miles a gallon. just my suggestion. even a new one will only cost you about 15k

A friend of mine had a 90's geo metro, light green. It looked like an easter egg but he only filled it up once every 3 weeks.

Civic, and dont waste your money on a hybrid unless you drive it only on the interstate, there is no real advantage otherwise, plus you get a huge addition to the price.

if I had to get a 4 door, I'd probably get a mazda 6 turbo. probably out of your price range though. Maybe a used mazda 6. they are sharp little cars...
I got 28 mpg out of my GT before the gears (highway) ![]()

Or you could just buy a geo prism for about 1,000 bucks...those things get some real SICK gas mileage.

dude i dont mean to burst your bubble, but you wont get 25+MPG on a SRT-4, I will tell you that they ARE fast and fun to drive, and probably will be worth the extra money on gas, but if your looking for a gas econ car, srt-4 is not a good car for that.
Id get a new dodge caliber tho R/T tho, $20k, gets 23/26 MPG and its fast and fun to drive, I test drove one over at the dodge by International mall and fell in love with it. I might be getting a Nissan Altima SE-R for a daily driver |

my girlfriend just ordered a brand new 06 scion tc rs2 (the nice looking car scion not the lunchbox or that other ugly car). they start at $16,300 brand new! it gets 30 mpg and the whole roof is glass so there is a huge sunroof and its standard on every tc.
edit: thats not a pic of ours, just a pic i found on the internet. |
