what are some shops/garages in orlando or close to it so i can go look at stuff or get some help instaling some stuff for my 2002 V6 mustang?

Icefreezen 04-20-2006 08:33 AM

Where in Orlando are you located and what are you looking to install?

sk84life 04-20-2006 08:38 AM

im by the orlando international airpoart and stuff like gears, nitrous, and springs.

Icefreezen 04-20-2006 08:44 AM

I'm going to recommend you install the springs and nitrous yourself its fairly easy but if you have the money for someone to install it go to Lamotta for the gears they charge like $250 if i'm correct. I dont know if they will install the nitrous or not.

Like I siad install the nitrous and springs yourself its easy and will save you some money

Grimmz 04-20-2006 08:48 AM

kinda off topic, sry but where the HELL is VMP tuning located? lol...

yeah my springs cost me 300 for the install, and that was with a deal, otherwise it woulda been 380 with install and alignment...

i've read the walkthroughs with the install of the Nitrous, and I got all the physical install parts down, but how hard is the electronics?

Just remember how the circuits are going to complete itself and for the love of God ground you wires

spike_africa 04-20-2006 09:01 AM

Its pretty simple, just hook up some grounds, 12 switched power scource, consistant 12v source etc.. i mean if you cna fallow directions and use wirer crimpers etc.. its not tuff. I am sure you got to have a freind who knows how to wire stereo's i bet they can help.

As for shops in 0-town.

American motorsports on OBT,Lamatta performance on 17-92 and semoran, there is also some other shops around too but it depends on what you want done.

lol thats all, how is the WOT switch determined? Honestly I wish I could have the wiring from the Venom kit, but with the Wetshot of the NX kit... hopefully if I do nitrous down the road i'll have the Accessory kit 2 with it...

Well that should be the easy part. Think of it this way you dont want that to go off unless your at WOT so you put it in the spot that when you T/B goes down all the way that it gets triggered.

Also if you meaning how it gets wired in if you think of the circuit is complete basically cut a wire and splice that thing in there so you have the switch that arms it but still wont go off until WOT is triggered
